This is purely about T20 WCs. Not ODIs. Looking for mostly modern T20I pacers because the likes of Pollock or Vaas won’t have played T20I enough and mostly in their final years.

Afridi played the most crucial role in first few editions of the T20 WCs as an alrounder. I dunno how good his stats were. He could bowl 120kph+ darts. Indians accused him of chucking then for bowling those fast ones, now defending Bumrah and Axar types.

Starc is not averaging 19, I don't know which stats you are looking mate. Is it T20I stats or WT20I or any specific filter applied like WT20I vs top 8?

Average + ER are equally important here. Not checking stats, pretty sure it's the GOAT sitting at top here too.

You are right I put made a mistake with one parameter when inputting the stats

Starc has not done that well in T20 WC, for Australia their standout bowler is Hazelwood although his sample is low but he stood up and won 2021 WT20 for Aus.

Boult has been very good in T20 WC in 2021 and 2022.

Shaheen was very good in 2021 and 2022 WT20.

Bumrah was by far the best bowler in 2024 WT20 and is doing fine this WT20.

Steyn was pretty good in 2012 and 2014 WT20. His WT20I record is good.

Malinga obviously stood out during the 2010-14 phase as a t20I bowler.

yeah, afridi is hyped in Pak, but in India he was neither rated highly or feared. Top players from most indian perspectives are Wasim, day light and most others more or less same level Miandad, Salim Malik, Waqar, Aqib, Inzy, Shoaib, Anwar. Most others are fun to watch may have been a threat at their absolute peak, but otherwise not much

Yes but he bowled poorly in that game. He was carrying an injury and was unable to bowl yorkers anymore by that time. He was done after the Asia Cup 2012.
