Honestly no matter people say about him the guy wears heart on his sleeve and this act proves he is gem of person

Birmingham: There were no cameras and the gesture was made very quietly. Small it may have been, but conveyed a lot about Hardik Pandya.

It was around 9.30 pm on Monday that Ishant Sharma, KL Rahul and Hardik returned to the Hyatt Regency after dinner.

Ishant and Rahul were the first to get off the cab, with Hardik bringing up the tail. While the first two entered the team hotel, Hardik walked over to the Concierge Desk, in the porch, and requested a favour from the staffer on duty.

"This parcel contains food which wasn't even touched by us when we dined... Please give it to anybody who comes in the hotel's vicinity asking for food (occasionally happens at night)... It has been packed for that person," Hardik said, in the presence of The Telegraph.

That thoughtful act, clearly, touched the staffer. "I will, of course, Sir... I will," he promised.

Sometimes, even small gestures mean much.

Good gesture.
From what I have read on internet as a person hardik pandya is likeable guy. Comes from humble background. Failed in 9th standard then leave education for cricket.
I hope he work hard & improve his game.

'Multimillionaire leaves a meal for a homeless person' :)

Jokes aside the way the media is going on you'd have thought Pandya had donated his kidney to a stranger. Sure this is a nice gesture but it's sad that we live in times when stuff like this actually makes the news. We have turned ordinary, empathetic and kind human behaviour into something which is apparently extraordinary. In a way it's the soft bigotry of low expectations.

Very true. It’s a good gesture no doubt but it’s sad that this type of behaviour isn’t viewed as a normal thing.

Good gesture by Pandya.

Unfortunately we have come to a point where we MUST highlight such gestures so that more people get inspired. Its a selfish world otherwise.
