Or maybe anyone of your family members bought one? A little details on your first hand experience with it would be really helpful.

Thanks.

If you have then you have more money then sense
There used to be a saying about Rolls-Royce cars.

It went something like this (maybe not the exact words):

"If you have to ask the price, then you can't afford it. If you can afford it, you don't need to ask the price"

While I was in a mall, I went to an Apple showroom to check out iPhone X.

I was surprised.

Really really surprised.

It was UGLY.

My sis and her hubby have iPhone 7 plus which looks nice.

Not sure what Apple product developers were smoking when they designed Iphone X.

That notch is the deal breaker.

Yeh maybe in 60 and 70,s, when most were badly built. I agree

I don't think you quite get the point.

i get, it, only for the rich.

however my point was just regarding rolls royce.

all the reviews ive seen on youtube do say the iphone- considering the price i8 is the better phone.

however everyone keeps rating the one plus 5 phone

No not only for the rich. That's not the meaning of the quote.
It means that the rich, if they want it, wouldn't care about the price since that amount of money (in the Rolls Royce quote, or in this case the iPhone X) is nothing to them, whilst those who have to ask about the price, and thus the difference in price (between the Rolls Royce and other cars, or in this case, the iPhone X and other phones) are unlikely to be rich enough to afford it.

I've bought the Iphone 8+ instead since the X was quite expensive, I personally think the 8+ is a fantastic phone and I can't wait to start using Instagram with it. My friend has the Iphone X and it looks and operates brilliantly.

My first upgrade in 3yrs (from iPhone 6). Fantastic. Runs beautifully. I was tempted to go for the Note 8 but a few of my mates have already got rid of theirs. The notch is no big deal. The camera is great for photo enthusiasts like myself. But overall, it is still not worth the price tag. I feel slightly guilty for dishing out 1k for a phone.

Haha. Note 8 is a monster. Best phone in the world by far.

Why exactly?

I've heard good things about it. I don't like iOS, find it too prohibitive and would probably never jump from Android.

If the iPhone X had Android running on it and was a couple of hundred dollars cheaper I'd get it in a jiffy.

I have also used Android over the yrs..I found it to become sluggish after a while. Note 8 is what, £900? Not far off from the iPhone X price tag.

Flagships from Samsung, Google and OnePlus don't suffer from it anymore. They remain just as fluid over time as iPhones.

Samsung carries a lot pf baggage from the S1 to S5 days. Also people buying 15000-20000 samsungs expect it to work like chinese brands of same price (which are more speced) .
I'm using an S7 now and love it , but mine and another brand new S8 from my cousin all have the same flaw - the UI isn't smooth, it jerks from time to time and drops frames . Which overall gives the SLOW perception. Touchwiz otherwise is pretty powerful and useful now. But it's the skin that kind of drags the framerates down.

I told my dad. He said no problem but then i told him price, then he gave me a strong phaintey.....indeed very strong. I got back to my room, opened pp and started modding.

You could probably buy whole Srinagar with that price.

How has your experience been like?

Looks like the best iPhone so far. I have used 4, 5, 6, 7 before. There was sound issue with one of them, when music was played at maximum volume. Took it to apple service center and they replaced it no questions asked. More screen space with the same size. The 3D animojis are a novelty factor and no use for me. I like that I dont have to press anywhere. Just tap on the phone and it wakes up. Look at it and it unlocks. But the main reason I bought it was the price as I like expensive stuff.

I would never buy a phone with that ugly notch. Apple is responsible for bringing another useless " notch " trend after removing headphone jack. Lots of new android phones design is affected by this notch syndrome.

But this trend will not live that long because companies are already working hard towards bringing allscreen bazelless phone starting from vivo apex.

New design trends in this segment will be Bezelless allscreen phones then move on to foldable screens phones to rollable screen phones in next 5 years

You prefer iOS over android?

i have been using iphone x for 3 months so far, i upgraded from 6s+, so there were major improvments but facial recognition is getting annoying i prefer the fingerprint by far as with facial recognition you still have to swipe the screen then look at it.
