Two exciting new talents , musa and husnain , were selected for the t20 series but the guys twice their age were preferred to play over them. T20 is easily the most risk-free format of the game to try the new ones. Shaheen shah is being talked about a lot , but i am 100 percent sure that he wont even play a side game. Misbah is a bad news for pakistan. First made azhar ali the failing batsman the captain of the test team so he can hang onto his place then brough back imran khan who is neither tall nor fast or in anyway a threat for any of the batsmen in the world at the moment. Only selecting young guys in the squad just for sightseeing isnt enough , play them or leave them home so they can at least play domestic cricket.

While we talk about giving youngsters a chance, you also need to realise that none of those 4 have played T20 cricket in Australia and they also need match practice in these conditions.

There is only 1 spot available which is where Mohammad Irfan is playing. While it's a strange decision to have him back, but it's also unfair to not have given him the second game based on just 1 over in the last match. I'm positive that one of the youngster will get a game next match.

It's hard for PCB to justify sacking Misbah straight away, but they should at least control the damage by appointing a separate chief selector and hiring a batting coach.

Even if he was fit, he probably went half effort as it was his first game after the WC, probably didn't want to injure himself. He'll be fine against Australia.

i doubt so , he looked frail and tired in the field and was asking for water a lot.

Misbah-ul-Haq has been a disaster so far. But then again, in Australia/SA, he used to lose the series as captain before he entered the ground. Just doesn’t have the mindset of a winner in those conditions.

A person like Misbah will take on both roles knowing full well he has no leadership abilities or eye for talent. Its like plucking out a journeyman from domestic cricket and making him coach and selector.

We were on course for a T20 world cup win bht as always when world cup comes near PCB will self sabotage with silly decisions.
