Ideally, he should look to play for the team, that gives him best chance to grow as a player. It's like, a choice between sitting at that Real bench & share the success of your team mates, or start for Liverpool every week twice. Anthony Martial decided to go to ManU, instead of Arsenal - now, he'll head back to France; Lewandwiski chose Dortmund over Bayern - 5 years later, now he is Bayern Munich's No. 9.

The UK is known for having some of the most conducive bowling conditions in the world (although the pattas in the CT beg to differ LOL) however, as some of the scores in the RL Cup have shown, batsmen attack with intent - excellent opportunity to gain invaluable experience, hone his skills and pad the bank balance.

Would love for Amir to also get a County offer - I hope the Clubs can look beyond 2010.

Inzi said last time that the players won't get NOCs for BPL if it happens during Pakistan's domestic season and BPL mostly happen during Pak's domestic season.

County cricket can take its toll on young pacers who are playing full international season as well as their own domestic.

It could be a T20 only contract which would be very good for him. If it includes all forms (which I doubt as I think all teams have the max limit for 4 dayers) it could be bad for him as he has had problems with his hamstring recently and he would be bowling a lot of overs with little break.
