He scored 100 and big fifty in under 19 world cup for Pakistan

He has all the shots and is a great power hitter

His reverse scoupe shots are just like Dilshan's

His bowling emulate swing on Bhu.. Kumar of India

His all rounds skills seems to be on par of Hardik Pandya's

Please see the video and let me know of your thoghts if you agree or disagree ?

Hardik Pandya has not done much in his short career to be idolized.

Pandya is still a a work in progress who has tremendous upside.

Let's hope Hasan Mosin can be Pakistan's Hasan Mohsin. Let's hope he is able to make it as just Hasan at the big stage

No he's going to becom a specialist no 5 for us in place of Malik

What a batsman he is,not a great technique but it works for him

Let's stop these needless comparisons! Every player has his own mould & will turn out to be it's own player. No need for add pressure at this young age. They may have similarities but each to its own.

Babar = Kohli
Shehzad = Kohli
Imad = Yuvraj
Masood = Inzi
Amir = Wasim
Hassan = Waqar

Did this guy make that all-rounders camp that happened a few months back or the new 10 weeks camp?

A lot of work to be done, he only started bowling pace literally few months before that world cup.

We don't have the correct coaching system to develop allrounders, nor the right culture.

You have hall of famers like Tanvir batting themselves at 3 or 4 and putting future ARs like Mohsin, Hammad Azam etc at 10 or 11.

Looks like a good clean hitter, with a strong sweep shot

Has a weird slingy action. Got some good swing, doesn't seem to have much pace

Looking forward to seeing him in the PSL !

Then he's absolutely rubbish and should stay at the FC level and the PSL. Hardik Pandya wouldn't make any team with a decent bowling attack, let alone Pakistan who's fifth bowler would be the main strike bowler on other teams.

Oh let's start comparing,Hassan Mohsin is 10 times the batsmen Pandya is already

Pandya is a spinner basher,Mohsin can actually play faster bowlers and almost every game he played Mohsin was in the action

Bowling is enough for 3-4 overs when the ball is moving

Comparing him to Pandya. :)) I can only laugh.

Don't wanna write any young kid off but Pandya is way out of his league.

His shots are well timed and well placed, but he appears to premeditate a fair bit. Beautiful stroke at 1:45.

How do you rate Pandya's bowling ?
As far as Mohsin is concerned, not sure why he is being hyped so much last few months lol. He's a decent prospect but needs to up his pace.

Decent enough to hold an end in tests. He gets a lot of lift, more than any of their bowlers. However, it's his batting potential that makes him a standout.

Pandya to me is not yet a test level batsman. Yes can hit of few in ODIs and T20s.

He is a very good talent. Batting is like a proper batsman and can hit few as well unlike Pandya who is mostly hit or miss.

In his bowling it looks he tries to emulate Tim Southee. He needs to work a lot on his bowling especially speed. As a bowler you should be able to ball at all times of the innings instead of just bowling few overs with the new ball. That is one of the reasons Faheem Ashraf was prefered over Amir Yamin (behind in pace to ball in the middle overs).

You cant regularly take wickets in the middle overs by bowling late 120's kph or early 130's. Atleast it should be 135 kph to do something in the middle.

Look at Bhuvi, he increased his pace from late 120s to late 130's just for this reason and with slower pace he was never a favored bowler in middle or death overs.

The 75mph pace bowler.

18 at that time and he's skinny as a stick, I'm sure his pace can be raised in a year with proper coaching. Now the problem is, where do you get proper coaching? The only proper place is in the Pakistan team which he won't make right now.

his batting stance reminds me of great Imran Khan. and looks good can hit on either side and straight no slogs.

and his bowling more like andresen good prospect. pace can be improved. but he must not compromise his swing. looks good.

Having seen him play the U19 toirnament I don't rate him very highly as an all-rounder but purely as a batsman.

He started his career as a leg spinner but before this tournament and just around a month before a tri series with Australia and NZ he started bowling medium fast.That is the reason he isn't that fast(even though he can swing the ball) and the fact that he might get these U19 batsmen for fun but against the big boys he will surely be found out with that pace.But I will give him the benifit of douubt and would like him to improve as a bowler in the years to come because so far what I have heard of him is that he is an extremely hard working guy and is very passionate.

Purely as a batsman,to me, he looks ugly to watch.I have seen him bat for extended periods and with his exaggerated front foot press he can be found out and surely will be tested whenever and whether he plays at highest level.But the way cricket is being played(more so these days)you don't need to be a technical master to be successful at the highest level.If you are tempramentally strong you can still be a successful player as we have seen some players of the past.

The best thing about his batting style is that it is very unique and more importantly it has been working for him.The biggest example has to be of Steve Smith-not the most aesthically pleasing but moghty effective.He just needs to evolve as a batsman in coming years and keep working hard on his batting.

He was also part of KK squad in PSL but didn't get a game.I hope this year he gets some games and show whether he has improved or not.

All the best for the future Hasan.

I created a thread on him and Umair Masood a while ago. I was very impressed with both after the U-19 WC and they both should be apart of a team for next years PSL, Saif Badar was also a good looking talent.

I remember posting a long time ago that Hasan Mohsin has the ability to be a great genuine all-rounder. He can be a great asset in our team, needs a few Domestic seasons could be implemented in the team after the 2019 WC.

If this video is anything to go by this kid is the bees knees

Looks really good with the bat, a lot of flair and improvisation sweep shots , ramp shots

the bowling he definently needs to ramp it up by 5-10mph and get in the 80-85mph range

One inning of note and few bits and piece performance and Pandu becomes the benchmark for the upcoming cricketers. Cricket was never so easy, isn't it?

he bowls around 115-120 range which is a bit slow ... plus last i checked u19 is played with a smaller ball that swings a lot more than the one used in international matched at country level ... so not sure ... as for his batting he seemed to have a decent swing let's wait and see

He should not be compared to a bits and pieces cricketer like Pandya who hasn't done enough to look up to.
