As the toss has been done and both teams will now be playing the psl final. The pcb under rameez raja has successfully held a psl without any covid outbreaks and without any bubble violations and that too in Pakistan.

This is just the second time a full psl season was played in Pakistan and the first time in covid era...

There were the bubble faitgue issues and the fualkner issue, but pcb provided contingency leadership, where they adjusted the policies and bubble rules as the tournament went on... By the play offs thankfulky the rules were relaxed and all franchise owners were consulted with any policy.

Congrats to pcb, psl management and pakistan cricket fans

I would have posted this till the end of the final

Great tournament! Really enjoyed it.

Superbly hosted within Pakistan.

Where’s those who only comment when it comes to criticising Pakistan cricket?

Great matches, great crowd atmosphere. Loving it all the way! Thank you to everyone involved and for showing this side of Pakistan :)

Finally we have delivered a full fledged PSL in Pakistan in one go without any hiccups or interruptions.

Well done to the PCB, Pakistani govt, Pakistani law enforcement, security agencies, sponsors, players and the officials

Credit to the entire administration for pulling off such a professional tournament.

Hats off to the PCB and everyone involved for hosting a successful tournament exclusively in Pakistan. Me and my whole family thoroughly enjoyed it. The Lahore leg crowds were amazing with a great atmosphere.

The Franchises especially Lahore should have good profits this season

The prize money for the winners was almost US$ 500K. Even if they distribute among all 25 people in the squad, that's still substantial prize money.

congrats to the Lahore crowd aswell that actually showed up unlike the karachites.

It was good decision that the lahore leg was scheduled in the other half as we had full and great crowds

My concern was before the Aussies arriving there could have been some terrorism related issues. Now that the tournament has concluded successfully I can look forward to some real Cricket:ssa2

Every year the tournament is improving. The quality of cricket is top notch and we are seeing why the draft system leads to higher levels of competition than an auction. It’s also getting international praise, we need to quit comparing PSL to IPL. PSL is it’s own brand, it has its own culture and it’s a great product.

The biggest key take away is to avoid having the important matches in Karachi because the crowd there is absolutely dead and Lahoris are truly passionate about their cricket!

Yesterday's crowd was one of the best of Pakistan, in recent times.

Big credit to Lahoris who came in droves to pack the stadium! Love the city's spirit

How much goes to the players and how much do the LQ keep

I have no idea how they are going to do it.

They have been distributing Iphones among top performers after every match and the players and staff got Ipad pro once Lahore ended in the top two. Weise was given a US$ 5K reward after he won them the eliminator against United.

Bank of Punjab has also promised prize money of 1 Crore Pakistani rupees to Qalandars if they won the league.

All in all, I can say that the players should get good prize money for winning the league. Substantial for local Pakistani players and ok for players like Brook/Patel

It was a great tournament but we need the addition of teams like Faisalabad and Sialkot for the the PSL to really represent the glory of Pakistan cricket.

I'm surprised that the Lahore Qalandars management can afford these type of expensive prizes and awards. People paint such a doom and gloom image of the Pakistani economy but these things show a different story.

Franchisees and PCB have agreed that there won't be any new franchise until PSL 10. But this is probably more because they can't afford another franchise. although, I would love to see a new franchise, either Fislabad or Sialkot because there is a good number of local prospects players that play few games/ not selected.

Well Done to PCB and Ramiz Raja, a very special PSL season, and the final was spectacular. Phenomenal

Thanks to everyone involved for producing a high quality tournament. Great vibes

It will happen as Pakistan's economy gets stronger. Signs are good and I expect this to happen soon.

After disappointing crowd in Karachi, lets give Karachi crowd a break next year and keep PSL in Lahore, Pindi, Faisalabad and if Peshawar and Multan are ready, over there.

To be honest, each venue should only have the home team matches, that is the best way to ensure maximum crowds

Definitely, pretty well managed and delivered one of the best seasons. Its only gonna get bigger in the coming year with more venues and hopefully Covid subsiding a bit more so less strict bubbles.

Multan and Pindi had a huge crowd in almost every other match in 2020 (Before covid leg). I personally think Multan is one of the best stadiums in Pak currently. Peshawar is gonna be a house full every other match most likely and is definitely one of the venues that Ramiz is targeting for next year.

Iqbal Stadium Faisalabad is pretty good. I think with an addition or two in teams post PSL 10 it might come into reckoning for PSL (Maybe if it gets a team) as before that we are going to see matches in cities with the teams most likely.

I think thier should be a team frm Kashmir.

The Karachi crowd were poor they should not be given any matches next season and Multan should be given games.

Overall the quality in every aspect was phenomenal I enjoyed the tournament alot and this was the best tournament so far.

We saw a better attendance for Karachi kings matches though. A big reason why Karachi had poor crowd attendance is that they have had too many matches/ oversaturated. And so when this happens, interest will be lost, which is what happened to Dubai and PSL, Pakistan matches. in PSL 1 and 2, there were brilliant Dubai crowds.

From now on, there should be a home and away schedule for every team if possible (Quetta and Peshawar the only unrealistic options).

We can have Peshawar in a stadium available in a couple years as well if work is being done behind the scenes for the stadium infrastructure, security safety and accommodation. But Quetta options seems very unrealistic.

Proberly did have better attendance for karachi games but stil nothing compared to Lohare games.

I don't think we're going to get home and away matches for another 2 seasons but hopefully they do.

Hats off

But next time it should be made sure that there's a little gap between Psl and next series (especially if is a test series).

3 main players are injured which has totally disturbed the balance of our test team against Australia.

true and India were extremely poor in the WC because they had just finished a prolonged IPL. It does take a toll mentally and physically .

Overall, highly impressed with PCB, and great to see some young talent coming through the ranks.

haris , Zeeshan etc
