I was just thinking about it :13:

Imran Farhat last played international cricket for Pakistan during the 2013 CT whilst Faisal Iqbal's last game was even before - the infamous Sydney Test of 2010.

Since both have slim to none chance of playing for Pakistan again and neither are playing PSL - have the called it quits yet?

Faisal still thinks he is in with a shout..

farhat has officially retired but faisal hasn't. ...... faisal always deserved to be in the team but now he should not be in the team come what may...... if he was given same chances as farhat was he would hav been a great batsman by Pakistani standards ...... being miandad nephew was the real problem he was criticized for nothing

No, need to announce retirement. when you are permanently dropped. You announce retirement, when you are an active member. Player who get discarded, don't really need to announce retirement because no one cares

He was dropped and criticized because he was rubbish - had a Test average of 26 despite having played many games on the roads of Pakistan. Good riddance.

Farhat's father in law ruined his career and attitude IMO since Farhat began thinking he could brown nose his way into the team rather than make it on merit.

Had it not been for his father-in-law - Farhat could have been a far better and hardworking player than what he became.

Both are still rubbish though but Farhat had more potential.

Misbah has set a bad benchmark honestly. He should've been there for 1-2 years maximum after 2010 and then call it quits.

easy for a guy like you to say.

what do you know about working hard to achieve something

They should both do a Bazid Khan by retiring from the game. At 35 years the chances of Faisal being selected for international duty again are slim to say the least. For what it's worth he did play a few good innings during his short career at top level. Farhat has always failed was he not only selected because of his father in law held some important position?.Seeing the merry go round with our Farhat may very well make a comeback if he is still playing.

I find it so difficult watching kamran akmal in the team, i intentionally miss the first few overs of our batting. I would have to start following our kabaddi team if these two jokers returned.

Have you read my life history so that you can say I don't know about working hard to achieve something?

There maybe many cricketers out there who may work hard however due to lack of talent or fortune are unable to go on a higher level.

Agree with your point being the rule but Misbah is the exception. His service was just another level

Iqbal has just signed up with Brigade, will be playing club cricket here this season.

Faisal is deluded. Fawad should be given a chance in Tests though.

To be fair Farhat was many times the player shan masood will ever be and yet all we do is complain about farhat

The Luck of the Irish if ever needed!

Haha just to clarify I aint affiliated with Brigade or anything, my original use of the word "here" may make it seem as if I'll actually be playing with him. I was referring to the whole island :P

Which is still incorrect as I'm not even living there atm
