It looks like there has been alot of marketing going around.

There is a tea wala going around in the stadium giving tea with a machine backpack. That was by Tapal

Theres an actual T shirt launcher. Thats a first for cricket. I think that was by harpic, dont remember

There were races being held. That was by i think zic.

Then there was catch practise in the ground, with the winner getting a signed ball

Then was that 3g or 4g race with the board- don remember the sponsor name

Then there was another where the fans could bowl in the ground and hit the wicket and win a prize.

There there is that Pepsi catch a carore

Head and shoulders also have that dandruff move.

Gotta say, alot of stuff going on in the stadium and looks fun. Gives a festival like feeling.
THough i also wonder how teh ppers at the ground feel. Are they enjoying all this marketing? Are they able to participate in these events and games easily?

Had I been a investor, I’d certainly focus on the marketing.

But I’m analysing the game from a cricketing aspect. So far, it’s the same old story. Inconsistency in terms using emerging players in the side or utilising them properly. And same old players dominating ie Misbah, Faheem & Asif Ali etc.

The likes of Asif Ali, Faheem and Fakhar finding their form also illustrates the low quality of cricket being played at PSL level.

I want to see more youngsters being given a chance, players like Hammad being utilised the right way. PSL should all be about youngsters getting that exposure v ready made International stars. Instead we see Sami as captain and Shehzad coming in for Saud Shakeel.

Too many gimmicks.

I appreciate sponsors pay the cash, but at times these gimmicks are annoying and ott.

There's a key moment in the match yet suddenly the camera goes to someone racing against an advert.

But at the end only PCB high officials will be benefited not our actual cricket.
And PCB should remove its emerging quotas as well since actual talented players are not given opportunities.
It should be called Pakistan Veteran Cricket League (PVCL) and invite retired former players like Akram, Anwar, Waqar, Azhar, Sohail, Miandad.....

Simple steps like getting school kids to PSL for free, giving them a t shirt, giving them a chance to meet one of the stars etc - thousands of school kids etc

just saw Ali Tareen bringing in kids from south punjab who have cancer to the stadium. INfact, they are being made as brand ambassadors! Thats great.

While other teams make celebrities(who dont give a damn about cricket) there brand ambassadors, the Sultans have chosen these kids.

Great stufff from them

You have kids in Dubai. Its simple commonsense

Ali Tareen seems to be a very positive inclusion to the PSL. The guy clearly has the vision and education to understand how to globalise this event.

Some of the marketing by brands is cringeworthy. Pakistani events, short on money, allow sponsors to ruin the spectacle.

Completely agree on getting kids to the stadium free and other such marketing. Positive and fills some part of the ground.

I agree though this Head and Shoulders dandruff dance is ridiculous.

One of many ridiculous gimmicks.

Good to see a bit of fun, but they are overdoing it and turning it into a joke.
