Watching the Test match right now but for those watching - how does Abid Ali look technically ?

Was very good vs pace and spin both. Solid player. Played some good strokes as well.

He is a good runner between the wickets.

He is a good runner between the wickets.

He looked overweight the last time I saw him bat.

Is he looking fitter now?

Beautiful hundred from Umar Akmal. Dad what Waqar and Misbah-ul-Haq did to him in the test arena. I guess the OD arena as wel but that’s a separate issue.

Imagine we played him like we we played Azhar and shafiq. I’d assure you he’s average 40+ with a SR over 70.

Hope he kicks on and scores a double hundred.

HBL are in total control with a lead of 150. SNGPL were unlucky to go into the final match with all of their stars on international commitment.

In case of draw, HBL will take the trophy. That's why SNGPL have gone with excellent run rate and scored 336 runs in only 70 overs. I expect another 60-80 runs within 7-8 overs for SNGPL.

It seems HBL will be given a target of around 250 in 70 overs because SNGPL will lose the title in case of draw anyways.

And we might well see yet another surprise tomorrow. SNGPL have given themselves a chance here.

So SNGPL hoping for a Pakistan style collapse on Day 5 by HBL :D

Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited 304 & 430/7d * (78.3 ov)

Habib Bank Limited 472

Day 5: Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited lead by 262 runs with 3 wickets remaining

They just need a draw to win the title, but HBL are choking now. Five down with 20+ overs remaining.

Good, hard fought FC game with proper duration. 96 overs/day isn’t possible in winter in PAK - May be they can make the top tier games 5 day affair; Wasim Khan better think in this line.

Another 50 for Umar in FC game, which must have increased his chances in LO 😜 squad.

Umar Akmal gets main of the match in the final.

Back to back scores at a quick rate as well.

Finished with 113 & 52 in the game.

Finished third highest run scorer that to at a very healthy strike rate.

Misbah ul Haq lost his cool in the end and was arguing with umpires a lot on time wastage and lbw decisions.
