Help..!!! Pulled off some wood while removing scuff sheet..!!

I have an ss ton heritage cricket bat... Which has around 12-13 grains..!!
It is almost 6 months old... Recently i tried to remove the scuff sheet off it... And unfortunately i pulled down some wood off the bat..!!!
Will it decrease the performance on the bat??
Will its ping decrease???
Nd how can i repair it??

PLZ REPLY ASAP...!!

Can you post a pic of the damaged part?. Anyways just use a sandpaper to smooth it off. Shouldn't be a problem.
 
Only if we have a picture we will get to know how much it may damage the bat or something else.

Looks okay! Don't think it should have any effect on the performance of the bat!

The bat looks absolutely OK also next time when you have to pull the scuff sheet off, try it pulling across the grains and not along the grains. It minimizes pulling off of the wood.
