AGRA: The Hindu Mahasabha, Aligarh, on Sunday released a controversial Hindu New Year calendar in which seven mosques and monuments from the Mughal era, including the Taj Mahal, and the holy Muslim site of Mecca, have been referred to as "Hindu temples".
While Taj Mahal has been referred to as "Tejo Mahalaya temple", Mecca has been called the "Macceshwar Mahadev temple

She said that she hoped that the government will accept their demand and declare India a Hindu nation.

She said that Muslims had plundered Hindu religious heritage sites and had turned them to mosques by changing their names accordingly.

"They should now have to give these back to Hindus and we will restore their original names, as mentioned in the new calendar," she added.

She said that all names mentioned in the calendar have been verified by historian BP Saxena, a retired professor from the history department of Varshney College, Aligarh.

Saxena claimed that facts can prove beyond doubt that these seven religious heritage sites belong to Hindus.

He said that if there is any controversy, excavations should be conducted, just like in the Ram temple case, and evidence will be there for all to see.

So after Babri, now the Great Mosque of Mecca has also been built upon a temple?

Who are these historians and what evidence to they have? cricketjoshila CricketCartoons

Religions don't need historians, they are blinded by faith,it's similar to people who believe Adam is the first person with no historical proof.

Don't know why you tagged Joshila, he is into defending india, not hindostan.

I think it is a waste of time and we should focus on reclaiming the temples in india. Don't think I will travel all the way to Saudi Arabia to perform pooja, no matter how ancient or holy the temple is.

He accepts the claim Babri was built upon a temple so wondered if he also believes this.

You wouldn't be allowed to step foot into the city let alone get anywhere the Kaaba. But do you accept this claim?

It's better to discuss this topic with cricketjoshila than CricketCartoons. Atleast he will be serious about the topic.

I need to study the evidence, till then I can neither accept nor deny the claim. If there was a temple there, it would make little sense to reclaim it as there are hardly any hindus living there. We hindus must focus on reclaiming our temples here in India and bring about the Hindu Renaissance.

Perhaps :)

Makes sense to stick with India. Let me know when you have studied the evidence or if he can show me , I will happy to study it too.

Lol atleast there was some significant archeological evidence for the Babri issue, but what kind of stuff are they now smoking? So basically any previous community that was idol-worshipping becomes Hindu now?

I can't help but feel this is all a huge practical joke and we're falling for it :P

We should have expected it really. After all the Indians mocking desi Muslim claims of Mughal descent, finally we have gone full circle and they are now claiming Arabs are of Indian descent. It was only a matter of time. Where's that Goodness Gracious Me made in India video?

On the internet Indians like to claim everything belongs to them, or everything started In India lol.

No need to mock the truth and show your ignorance. Abraham and Sarah were actually Brahma and Saraswati. Jesus Christ was Vasudev Krishna. There is also theory of Prophet Mohammad being the Mahamad, which means the great teacher, but I think this is bit vague. Otherwise there is solid evidence that what is called Abrahamic religion was actually a strand of our glorious Sanatan Dharma.

Smart move not countering the blind faith but the nationality ,coz that would actually be the root cause and hard it's to deal with it.

Some interesting observations on Qutub Minar:

Didn't know the structure contains designs of roses, lotus buds and bells and chains. Very enlightening.

:)) everything in this world has come out of India or Hinduism. Thank God for gracing this world with Indians otherwise we would have been living in vast emptiness, deserts and jungles.

This view is so popular that this is the first we're hearing of it. ::J

Its a popular view among North Indian Hindus. They even call Hajr-e-Aswad as an ancient Shivling. Maybe you arent aware of it down south.

It does not matter which religion you follow as long as you believe that all humanity came from the same person, and we are children of the same person.

Apart from Pakistanis or Bangladeshis, you need a fence to maintain the partitions with those aliens.

Qutub minar and qutub complex was constructed by destroying hindu and jain temples. Thats pretty much proven.

I heard about Mecca theory in 20 years back , never believed it though.

Regarding Qutub Minar , anyone visited there can see damaged temples in the complex. The Iron pillar predates the minaret itself.

It's just a guess, but that may have been because those temples were being used for abusing lower rungs of society. There are recorded accounts of children being sacrificed in India when crops failed, it wouldn't take much imagination to see scenarios where temples could be used for using women as well. If we are going to study history we should look at context to get a true picture.

Fresh way to look at it. Now I think that Nalanda was burnt to ashes possibly because pedastry and pornography may be rampant in the university.

We should be open to all possibilities, the history of Jogini temple slaves in India is long standing, and the more information we can gather, perhaps we can shed some light, whether it is destruction of temples, or their perceived misuse down the ages. This article for example, argues that 90% of the girls used in the Jogini system came from the Dalit community.

I agree. That is why whenever any attack on minorities happens, I look for the possibility that maybe it was necessitated by certain acts of the victims themselves.

Hindu Mahasabha is the terrorist hindu organization responsible for the assassination of Mahatama Gandhi. What could you expect from these snakes anyway? The sad part is that 80% hindu these days have turned radical and actually support this sort of Islamophobic stuff. I work amongst so called well educated professionals and entrepreneurs and they openly talk about wiping muslim population out of India, that why India needs a Hitler like figure today to put those muslims in their place.

Being a liberal has been tough in India ever since that chaiwala became PM. Back in Congress days we had closet muslim haters, now these guys literally bark without shame or fear.

It really is shameful.

Don't agree with assassination, but did you call Gandhi ,Mahatma? Don't forget your Punjabi roots, agree on Hindu Mahasabha it's looking to promote violence in the name of religion, and defn something that should be banned ,not coz of their speech but their behind the scene actions.

Well Islam does make radical claims about the one true message having been corrupted over time and that polytheism and other beliefs are merely perversions of the true monotheistic faith doesn't it? There's not a shred of evidence for that so i guess it does go both ways.

Of course Islam comes in the same category as well. I mean no offense to Muslims here but their religion is no different from the others and mostly fairy tales.
But come on Macceshwar Mahadev :)))

Qutab Minar was built on an already existing Krishna temple. It's a fact really.
