Hindu nationalists push to rename Taj Mahal city Agravan

You are meeting the most powerful person in the world and you cannot be bothered to change out of your night gown :))

To add salt to wound he even wore it in orange color just like Trump's face.

Yeah, changing names is the only thing required by us at this juncture....

How embarrassing was it for sanghis to see Taj Mahal being praised by Trump?

Why not just demolish Taj Mahal if you’re so ashamed of Muslim identity and it’s rulers

Demolishing things is not a Hindu trait. I mean we know historically demolishing or renaming things is trait of some other religions we won’t get into that.

Any way only time Hindus demolished something it is still highlighted on every platform even today as some type of an oppression. In fact the victims were compensated more than well and fair since then.

Well whatever they do they cannot change the fact that they were ruled over by Muslims for centuries

Congratulations to you on that. I mean I didn’t know that every Muslim was a royal descendant who did not report to any king/emperor/nawab/sultan etc etc

Oh really the Babri Masjid must have been demolished by aliens then, or more recently the mosques in Delhi. :jk

Don't project your inferiority complexes onto others.

Missed the second part?

Also not sure if you noticed that the Delhi mosques thing was an old footage and since then that propaganda has been taken down.

Looks like news reaches by old school postal mail where you are that’s the only reason I can think of

Old news?

These must be aliens demolishing the mosque as you said demolishing anything isn't a trait of Hindus, your words not mine.

They will be hard pressed to find a muslim ruling family that is actualy originated from present day India Pakistan or BD.

Its amusing how few pakistanis take pride in the acts of foreigners as if someone from present day Pakistan did it.

Trying to take credit for the acts of others.

Agra was formed by a Muslim King, Sikander Lodi, and therefore it needs to be renamed. It comes down to a mix of hatred and jealousy towards Muslims. This King was born and bred in the subcontinent, had a Hindu mother, but that still is not enough to stop him being a hated "foreign invader".

"There was an early reference to an “Agravana” in the ancient Sanskrit epic Mahabharata, and Ptolemy is said to have called the site “Agra.” The city was founded by Sultan Sikandar of the Lodī dynasty in the early 16th century to be the capital of the Delhi sultanate."

Almost the entire Muslim population from Delhi, East Punjab, as well as the bulk of middle class UP Muslims came to Pakistan. These areas were the hearlands of Muslim empires. Why would they view Muslim Kings from these regions as foreigners?

Pakistan and North India history is pretty much the same, its as much part of Muslims of Pakistan heritage as the Muslims of North India.

By that logic no one should be proud of any empire, since only one person was ruling the empire. No need for Hindus to be proud of Mauryan or Gupta, or Martha Empire. You were not the ruler, and are not related to the royal family. They also had to bend the knee to the King.

However people usually identify with the culture of the empire, so surprise surprise Muslims of subcontinent identify with the Muslim empires, and Hindus of the subcontinent identify with the Hindu/Sikh empires.

You can take pride in whatever you want.

This 1000 saal ki ghulami rhetoric that gets thrown around is what is amusing. Forget all the other arguments for that statement but unless your family ruled over india don’t you find that as a dumb generic statement? I mean under a monarchy no matter who the king is don’t you think everyone is a ghulam?

So if you live in Britain does it mean that you are a ghulam of Christians because of the queen (assuming that is her religion).

During the same time as Mughals who ruled a significant piece of india there was another huge empire called Vijayanagara that ruled almost the entire present day South India,Maharashtra and parts of even Bengal Orissa. Sure there were some Muslim subjects in the kingdom so should we call that Muslamanon pe hukumat ? How dumb does that sound.

Many mughal emperors were born to Indian mothers. For example here the mother of emperor Shah jahan

As previously discussed many of the peoples and tribes of northern india have origins outside subcontinent (for example Jutts) and even north east indians who resemble chinese more than anything, not entirely sure how would you define ‘local to India, BD and Pakistan (western part of which is actually Persian in origin).

Yea i completely agree that everyone was a ghulam of the King. This "we" ruled statement is wrong, however this concept in taking pride of others accomplishments is common throughout the world.

Zia the Mardood and the “Islamisation” oversaw a similar trend in Pakistan. Lylepur, for example become Faisalabad in the honour of Wahabi King of Saudi Arabia.

The same stupidity lead to the word Khuda being extracted from the culture of the nation, the morons not realising that Khuda is used in the national anthem!

Hindutva is no different to Salafi Islamisation of Pakistan in the 1970s and 80s.

Bhutto the liberal renamed Lyallpur to Faisalabad. Not Zia.

Yes, you are quite right, 1977.

But Bhutto has started bending over to keep the mullah’s happy by that time.

Bhutto was also a scumbag with his pseudo liberal ideals. He ripped the heart out of the Pakistani economy through nationalisation but left the cancer of feudalism untouched.

The also destroyed Karachi, the jewel in the crowd of an economically progressive Pakistan by giving the corrupt and incompetent Sindhi wadaras free rein to the City administration.

He sits alongside Zia the Mardood as the worst thing to happen to Pakistan. Sadly his dna continues to pollute Pakistani politics.

I remember there was a report where it was mentioned that majority of the top 10 attractions for tourists in India were all built by Mughals.

I'm sure the top attaction now is the Dharavi Slum in Mumbai that's attracting 'Poverty Porn' Media and tourism from around the world.

If the Fascist Hindutuva were true to their word and had the balls, they would have torn down the Taj in front of Trump. The fact that they had to take him to a site which shows the best architecture of Muslim rule must be so painful.

Mongoloid looks are not exclusive to China.

Jats are native to Indian SC. They are considered to be pastoralists from lower IVC areas.

Shahjahan was a Timurid emperor. A Barlas. The mughals were so Indian that their court language and arguably the language they spoke among them was persian.

Regarding north Eastern states, i visited Manipur and the Meitei people who are the majority there have a written history there that goes back a 1000 year before christ.

sucks the Hindutva govt can't go back in time and change the whole purpose and construction of Taj Mahal to make it hindu ...lol

And then we see one of the Hindutva goons handing out a portrait of the Taj to Trump.

Not sure what is the point of your confusing posts. The borders of modern day India (and subcontinent for that matter) are not God given structures. It has been fluid over the centuries and Jutts are Scytians from central asia.

If Mughals were mongoloid in race, then so are ppl of Northeast india and infact Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. But to reiterate my point even the hated Mughals were mostly Indian racially (due to having Indian mothers over the centuries) and the language they spoke by the end was Urdu, which is a language local to Subcontinent. Here another example of the Indian mother of the emperor Jahangir:

All this has been discussed at length many times in past, so for more info go and search the previous threads.

Shah Jahan was 3/4 Rajput, that still not good enough for you to be Indian?

They spoke Persian, because it was the lingua franca of North India when conquered the area. Their mother tounge originally was Chagtai. However they later adopted Urdu. The last emperor Bahadur Shah Zafar was a noted Urdu poet.

They also translated many Sanskrit works into Persian.

Seems real issue in declaring them foreigner, is that a Muslim man marrying a Hindu woman, and the child is raised as Muslim, is outrageous to you.

I completely agree with you regarding Bhutto and Zia, however Lyallpur was not renamed to please the Mullahs. It was renamed to suck up to the Saudis to get free money.

Spot on. That’s their real problem

Shahjahan was a Timurid emperor of Barlas ancestry.

Persian was never the lingua Franca of north India. Not the general public. It was the court language of royals and lingua Franca of Royalty.

There are muslims who are Indian. They converted to Islam. Like Janjua Rajputs or other Rajputs.

Also to add Lyallpur itself was named after a British army officer.

All the hindu wives of Mughal emperors converted to Islam too and were given an Islamic name.

If the criteria to be an Indian is that you cant have even one ancestor who came from Central Asia by that logic the Shai Imam of Jama Masjid in Delhi is not an Indian, because centuries ago one of his ancestors in the male line came to India. Does he not look like an Indian, like the other Bukharis?

What about Ismat Chughtai?

And the Mirza's, the Baig's? They look Indian to me, sure some might have light skin, but there plenty of light skin Hindus as well.

And what about the Muslim Rajputs, they have intermarried with these other groups for centuries. Are they considered foreign now because they have mixed there blood with "foreigners"? or does it only apply to people who have a "foreign" ancestor in the male line.

Top investment tip : Buy the Lego Taj Mahal Creator model 10256. More than 5500+ pieces. Once this Hindutva mob destroy all traces Islamic history in India, within 5 years, you can sell 10256 for 100 times the price.
