Salam all.

Hope Allah keeps us all well during such a difficult period. I was wondering what precautions everyone is taking.

Hand sanitisers are difficult to find. The building we are based in at work had many all over the building. They got nicked, only to be returned as a message was put and there were CCTV.

My office will have me working from home which under other circumstances it wouldnt.

We are buying alot of tinned food, long lasting food, halal meat and meds.

What are you all doing?

Not taking a great deal of care personally, we have bought 5L size of refillable sanitiser, wash our hands a more regularly, no deaths in the UK at this point so not worried about a lock down situation.

Traveling to Pakistan for a short trip tomorrow, the only thing i did was switch to a direct flight opposed to connecting one. Still a firm believer that society will not ground to a halt within the next week or so anyway, more people die of known causes daily.

In hyderabad 4 ppl were tested positive, 20 odd are suspected cases but with god's grace the hot summer is turning up quickly. Temperatures are around 35C as they say virus droplets can't survive more than 27C

Sanitizers, washing hands more than what it used to be regularly. Nothing much apart from that, not shaking hands and not hugging is not an option in Desi world.

Trying to not take my hand towards my face, but it's absurd, it happens like automatically after every few seconds.

Walaykum assalam.

Here in Toronto, it hasn't spread that heavily. Less than 5 cases in my city.

I am mentally prepared for it and I try not to go outside unless it is urgent.

Currently near an outbreak area. The main thing to take care of is your older family members, most of us who are young won't have any real effect, but you all who have older family living with you should take precautions for them.

The only precaution I'm taking, as I don't have anyone older living with me, is washing hands after every time I go outside, eating at home, and following governmental guidelines (Staying at least one meter away from other people when outside)

I’m just washing my hands more often now. I can’t cook anyways and I live in a building where the flats are shared anyways

My precaution is mostly ignoring all news and social media related to it.

Just trying to do the minimum.
Washing my hand regularly, not being around people who are coughing etc.

If it is gonna happen then it will happen so i’m not too scared tbh

What scares me more than the virus itself is that the threat of a virus is what is prompting some people to wash their hands properly

Not even that. You still see guys go to public bathrooms for the urinals and then exit without washing their hands.
