how big of a margin does islamabad have to beat karachi by for lahore to go through?

According to the current scenario, if Islamabad win by a margin of 15 runs or chase the target in 18.2 overs, then Kings will be out of the competition and Qalandars will qualify for the playoffs.

This calculation is considering there is a total of 150 in the first innings in the United vs Kings match on Sunday. The calculation is marginally different if the score is 180 or 200.

Don't worry these factors won't come into play because KK will beat IU. Sorry Lahore.

Tbh, I'd much rather KK qualified, then LQ go through this way.

But then again, if LQ qualify and who knows what could happen, if they hit form from there.

I also thought so - roughly calculated & posted that 13-15 runs or inside 18 overs. 27 runs or 3 overs in T20 is almost like the Pune Test.

I support Zalmi but dont want to see chota akmal team gone. They have alot of persona which makes it fun watching their games. KK they have good players but I dont see enough exciting cricket from them other than Mickey chacha yelling at his boys.

Should KK win, then they deserve to go through.

Actually this year the LQ side began to grow on me and I found some of their players quite exciting. However, Roy leaving was a HUGE hit for them and I think their season went downhill after he left.

Other than that Fakhar was doing a fabulous job as opener but got shifted to number three and has failed since then.

In a sense the LQ team kind of embodies Pakistan cricket. When they're good, they're really good, but when they're bad, they're really really bad. Never an easy run chase with them nor an easy match.

We'll see what happens tomorrow, but it would really be bittersweet for either sides (LQ/KK) to go through on a technicality. I just hope the youngsters (babar, Shadab, Talat, Butt, mir) all get a game and perform well.

it really baffles me that LQ always had flying start by their openers but middle order fails to continue or take it through. it may be because they have a wrong position of batsmen or they should've played a stronger and mentally mature batsmen who values his wicket and have game awareness.

anyway i think LQ is a gonner and i am really sad not to see more of fakhar and yamin.
