We know that many Punjabis, Pathans and Sindhis have represented Pak at international level. Other then Aftab Baloch from the 1980's is there any other player from Balochistan who has represented Pakistan at international Cricket?

Kaneria is a Marwari, Marwaris are not Sindhis. It's a different language altogether, spoken in Indian State of Rajasthan.
But heard he hails from interior Sindh the Thar Desert Area. That area has a lot of Hindus living there before 1947. And his ancestors definitely didn't migrate from India in 1947. And if his family is living in Sindh for this long he is a Sindhi.
Your Baloch poster right here! ....but, just like any other poster here on PP from Balochistan (if there are any), I'm just a Baloch living in Punjab. And, I don't think even a single person born in Balochistan and living in Balochistan has represented Pakistan but Bismillah Khan may become the first one to do so!
Sharjeel Khan is from Hyderabad, but a Seriaki speaker. Not 'Sindhi' Sindhi.
.
Clearly not enough. There's no way to break in to the domestic set up if you are based in Balochistan.

he's urdu speaking as per my knowledge.
actually, as per him.
Lol really, I met him when he was here for the A tour, and he told me he is a Seriaki speaker.
I assumed as he was from Hyderabad, he was an Urdu speaker (more likely than Sindhi), but he corrected me.

There haven't been many Sindhis either I guess. Name a single Sindhi who was a half decent player.
Players from Karachi are not Sindhis.
Not many from NWFP as well. This completely exposes the biased PCB, because their investment areas have mostly been Punjab and Sindh, while times are changing now, the talent is drying in Punjab and Sindh, if they don't invest equally in NWFP, Gilgit Baltistan, Kashmir and Balochistan, then we may continue to have poor talent in domestic cricket.

the question is that do they even want to? Prolly not

I don't think the answer is that clear. Disadvantages groups need to see demonstrated pathways to success in order to follow it. It applies as much to cricket as to anything else. In Punjab, rural to urban migration is accepted and has translated in to success. Which is why it is not uncommon to find so many of our bowlers showing up from small towns that non ones heard of - and a lot of these guys credit some benefactor coach or club owner or family member who pushed them to take up the sport professionally or provided them basic facilities. In Sindh that doesn't play out very well at all: it's dominated by Karachi. So if you happen to be a talented player from the interior the chances of you ending up playing in urban Karachi are minimal, because there is no major support network. The only broad exceptions are younis khan, Sohail khan, Afridi, and anwar Ali. Their cases are different because their families call Karachi their home and had been settled for a long time in Karachi.
I think the politics of ethnicity (unintended or deliberate) play a big role in the composition of the national team. But a lot of folks attack this notion because they think some type of quota system or affirmative action is being suggested as a solution. Instead we should recognize that upward mobility requires pathways to success and role models of people who have followed those pathways.
I agree overall. However in karachi cricket there is no politics of ethnicity. I am telling this with authority
A Sarfaraz or Asad Shafiq or Ghunman (sindhi) does not hold any advantage over an Anwar Ali or YK etc due to being from the politically dominant ethnicity
For merit to prevail, Punjab and Sindh must be split into small provinces, on administrative basis.
I think its far less disruptive to spread resources more evenly than to split up existing structures.
Sharjeel is Urdu Speaking.
Shoaib Khan was Pashtoon from Baluchistan (They do refer to themselves as Balochi). So i guess that makes him the only one.
Players from Karachi are counted as Sindhi's but ask them if they are ethnic Sindhi's and there response would be no.
No Ethnic Sindhi has ever played for Pakistan

Is baluch other country or a state of Pakistan?? Any info pls...
Not a bad idea, but PCB has been a Punjab or Sindh Cricket Board so far, no signs of change are noticed.

need to make the pie bigger before slicing it finer. Hopefully PSL etc brings more money in to the system. As much I am not a fan of talent schemes: but what Peshawar Zalmi or Lahore Qalanders are doing at least evens the chances of the small towns somewhat. To pick out someone from a non traditional cricket center.
They love soccer . Current Pakistan football team captain is from Baluchistan .
Hope it was enough to satisfy some egos

Other than this, PCB should at least hold domestic tournaments in NWFP or Balochistan as well, for years these T20 cups have always been held only in Sindh and Punjab, which is disgusting to see.
huh? how can there be a country within a country
its a province of Pakistan
btw does bangladesh have any province? when you were part of Pak, bangladesh was one whole province
No. Bangladesh don't have any province. It's pretty small to be divided into several states. Also it's basically a one ethnic group country. Bengalis are almost 99% (!). However chittagong hll districts of South East are little different ethnically and geographically than rest of Bangladesh.
However we have 7 divisions. And I think even that's not needed. Sylhet,Khulna,Barisal,Dhaka,Chittagong ,Rajshahi are enough. They unnecessarily divided Rangpur from Rajshahi few years back. So now it's 7 from 6. Once we actually had 4 divisions. Now 7. Huh..

Pakistan's best soccer player in recent times, Muhammad Essa was a Balouchi.
