How many debutants will we see in Pakistan v South Africa Test series?

How many of the uncapped players will make their debuts against South Africa? And who?

Misbah is a very conservative coach and will try to stick to the core as much as possible.

He will be forced give a cap to Imran Butt and to one of the spinners. So most probably only Imran Butt and Sajid Khan will debut.

People dream of Saud Shakeel playing, but I don't see Azhar Ali opening the batting at this age against Rabada and co.

Saud shakeel in middle order maybe at 5 or 6. Hopefully a new spinners picked aswell.

I'm guessing at least one of Saud Shakeel and Kamran Ghulam will debut. We'll most likely see another spinner play alongside Yasir, so one of Sajid Khan and Nauman Ali will also debut. Slightly more left field selection would be Nawaz as the 2nd spinner or even 3rd spinner.

Depending on whether Azhar Ali opens or not, we may also see Imran Butt or Abdullah Shafique play as an opener alongside Abid Ali. Having said that, I hope that neither Haris Rauf nor Abdullah Shafique make their debuts in this series. Both of them do not have anywhere near enough first class experience behind them.

Imran Butt and Sajid Khan should play at the very least as there's space there.

With Kamran Ghulam coming off an incredible domestic season on home pitches i wonder if Misbah/Babar would consider taking a punt there. I probably would, Pakistan pitches have more spice that UAE so it could be a fine move to debut someone who's already used to and has just dominated in these conditions.

Ghulam and Sajjd are not ready atm, they are more customs to ODI cricket.

Saud Shakeel is an experienced player at domestic, Abdullah is an xfactor if he clicks then who knows could go down as a great call, look at india, they literally given 6 new players chance against Australia.

Sometime fearless approach can lead to a good finding players for your team.

But does Misbah and Babar have guts or infact Babar who i feel sorry for him, as he is too innocent to understand cricket captaincy atm.

India can't have test players coming from India due to 14 days isolation rule.

We can probably push SSA out for a batsman but I don't think it's necessary

We were struggling with getting 20 wickets and a long tail can help with that

I think Misbah will pick more uncapped players this time just to prove the point that newer players are even worse than the current lot , it might be a master ful stroke for him to save his job , to be honest Misbah can't do anything with the talent he has in it's hand , the only bad thing he is doing is that he is not extracting even 80% output of the available talent , making our team look even more mediocre than it is actually.

Yep sounds like it, he'll play in Pindi but only 2 debutants i see. Imran and Sajid or Saud and Sajid if they go for Azhar opening
