BD match may not be such a walk over. The guys who play for them are veterans. Made debut when KOhli was playing under-19. They have a good core group with clearly defined roles. They have some issues with their bowling. But they can surprise a few.

If Abid instead of Imam and Umar Akmal in team as batsmen and if Amir in the team as bowler, we will win all the 9 matches and the semi finals and finals and win the World Cup.

If Imam in the team and Umar Akmal not making it, and Amir doesn't make it, we will only win 1 or 2 matches in the World Cup and go home.


The funny thing about this whole scenario is that of all the 3 players that are supposed to gift us the Cup, one is unproven, the other is a brainless hack and the 3rd can't buy a wicket for the last 01 year or so, but magically are considered world class.

I am beginning to believe that if I start smoking some good stuff, I will also feel the same effects.

We will beat one of the top 5 (SENAI) as per Pakistan's 20% win rate against them and if I had to pick the side that will get beaten, it would be against South Africa, since we won 2 x ODIs in SA and our record against them in ICC Comps has been good.

West Indies at Trent Bridge and with all their firepower with the bat will be to much for Pakistan to deal with.

Expect wins against SL, Bangladesh and Afghanistan but don't be surprised for this team to lose any of these games.

Overall: 4 Wins and 5 Losses and we will fall well short of reaching top 4, but I would be very happy to be proven wrong.

Correct - considering what BD did to them in Ireland. You could argue that Gayle was not playing but still.... BD beating them fair and square!

Bangladesh beat them in a full series back in their home ground, away ground last year and neutral ground this year basically on three different continents left, right and center

Keeping in mind the rainy season there we might see several washed out games too keeping those in mind we can sneak into the semis and repeat what India did in 1983
