looking at the rizwan batting in the current match and whole series he is

clueless and also zero game awareness sarfraz is miles ahead of him in batting

and he would atleast try for boundries unlike selfish player like rizwan who play

for himself

There is no comparison between Rizwan and Sarfaraz when it comes to both Batting and Keeping. Sarafaraz is a proven TEST CRICKETER who has competed with the very best and matched them blow for blow.

He was one of the key figures that helped us achieve that NO.1 SPOT in England. Rizwan is a poor man's Akmal in Keeping and a Poor Man's Adnan in Batting. The worst possible combo one can inherit ever.

Sarfraz is a must for our future. We need him as a captain and keeper in all three formats of the game.

Drop Azhar,Hafeez, Asad, Umar Akmal from the side.

60 average in 2016.
48 throughout his career in top 5 in ODI, enough said.

believe me their are majority of guys in PP who believes rizwan is better than sarfraz but i think they

should now have the answer

agree we should not forgive what a star batsmen sarfraz has been for us

in all three format

Sarfaraz would've been the difference between a 260 and a 300.. look at all the selfish knocks played by his contemporaries Rizwan and Imad, the guys were defending in the latter overs

Imad actually tried. He just could not time the ball well.

Rizwan on the other hand is a eyesore. Should be dropped from the side till he improves his batting. He is a horrible batsmen.

We missed Sarfraz because of Umar's knock. He is ideal for the middle-overs and rotating the strike to keep the momentum going, which could have allowed Babar to stay till the end and finish well. Instead, Umar sucked the momentum and Babar fell and the rest are incapable/out of form.

totally agree with this..! umar was as bad as rizwan he is main culprit who sucked all the momentum we have

I don't think you would have missed him too much, maybe 10-15 runs here and there. Don't forget pakistan didn't score 260 they were gifted 15 extras in it so basically they scored around 245 which is simply not good enough on pitches that allow stroke making.

Those 15 runs were fault of Australians. So Pakistan deserved them.

I think you are selling Sarfraz too short here. Sarfraz would have played similar to Malik today.

I am suprised he lot his singles and doubles game.

this is his problem he has no game awarness we he have to take singles and play sensibly he try for

big shots and when he have to up the anti he was playing carefully lol this guy is so hard to watch

Who ever told him to play like Misbah deserves to be punished.

you ve slightly missed the point. we missed him because he would have come in at 4 and put his foot on the gas but we had shafiq instead.
but sarfaraz also struggles if he comes to bat in the 45th over

Didn't really need him today.

He again would have accumulated some runs, but we NEEDED HITTERS!

Where the hell are they? We're losing because of no hitters.

Sarfraz deserves to bat in top 5 , he could be a lot better than akmal and co.

Sharjeel
Hafeez (for time being)
Babar
Malik
Sarfraz
Akmal
Imad

It almost seems to me that this question is being asked as if Sarfraz would have propelled our total to 300 or something. Sarfraz is a decent player and yes would be an upgrade on Shafiq at 4 but to say he would have made a big difference is highly debatable. Even when he has been in the team Pakistan generally these days scores between 220-280. 260-280 being rare. He wouldn't have made a difference and we wouldn't have still made 260-270. At max maybe reached 280. At the end of the day it's a team game and Pakistan as a batting side are mediocre with or without Sarfraz.

heres an idea, sarfaraz opening on a permanent basis with sharjeel. enough with the mentality of 'feeding sharjeel'; put pressure on their bowlers from both ends and punish anything lose. Sarfu's innings in the WC as opener really saved us more embarrassment...

We missed his ability to rotate the strike, he would have been useless in the last 10 overs trying to accelerate

Momentum is the name of the game, a few more overs replicating what Malik did would have taken the pressure off Babar and would have allowed him to bat through the innings - he has shown that he can hit boundaries more regularly once set.

Instead, Umar sucked the tempo out of the innings, then got out soon after Babar and the innings finished with a whimper.

We are missing Sarfaraz, no doubt. Rizwan seems clueless and ineffective with his batting. Have seen him bat very well so perhaps he is just out of form.

I would have sent Amir before Rizwan - Rizwan is not a slogger - he is not a bad batsmen either, he just needs time to get in.
