How much longer do we have to suffer because of sub-standard cricket balls?

Once again the kookaburra ball goes out of shape atleast 2-3 in a T20 match and had to be replaced. Is the kooka white ball so bad that it can withstand 1 good hit by a batsman? We already know that it won't swing/seam or spin significantly in most conditions but can't they atleast make a ball that lasts atleast for 20 overs or do we have to embrace 2 new ball rule in T20's as well? Also are the big bats to blame for the rapid deterioration of the ball? Will the ICC ever get serious about this issue?

Pakistan makes the best footballs in the world. Why cant they make cricket balls that can compete with Kooks.

Read an article today that was about a new ball being made and used for t20’s after 2020. It stated that the ball should last longer and create a balance between bat and ball.
