Why wasn't saad rizvi on horseback rallying his maulvis to go to indian border or if not that loc and lay down their lives.

People (educated folks) on PP justifying extrajudicial killings in fact not justifying but openly supporting and advocating it is quite sick. Sadly our moral fabric is completely broken now. Given there is no law in the land the powerful and their bandwagoners not only openly threat for lethal use but advocate it as they know its the law of the jungle and they are the one with most arsenal. I don't understand how these groups have such power in a country where the military decides how much protest is allowed. Isn't this the same establishment which cracked down hard on PTI supporters to the extent where some of them had to flee the country to resist arrest and torture?

Who is this TLP, and what gives them the audacity to launch disruptive protests across the country knowing that the military is in charge?
 
I think we have moved on long since this thread was first created and we should now all be wise to the act of Chaudhry nizam Din.

The govt themselves are the ones who activate certain political agents within our society to create widespread protests and panic in the population. It is now very clear to see.

The biggest govt mess up was when their demands were listened to by previous govts and bajwa being lean on them.

You see, the public will call saad rizvi dumb when he starts a march on khatam e naboowat, but when the publix sees that he was succesful in getting a law changed or something (even though the establishment and govt used him for their benefit), the public start seeing him as a man of action. Plus, due to the religious sentiment they think he can get thinks done.

Tlp has grown into a very very very dangerous group. All the lynchings done in pakistan in the name of religion, the people behind them were those influenced by what TLP preaches.

TlP openly preaches that anyone that disagree with Islam or is an Ahmadiya should be killed to death.

I don't think anyone is ignorant. I know that this is political play going around whereby this little event will be used to justify why Pakistan cannot come on board Abrahamic accord at this time. However any decision being made over the lives of innocent is never justified and will never be.

The party was banned in 2021, and Saad himself was detained for seven months in 2021 following violent protests.

The unrest escalated dramatically in Muridke during the TLP long march, where at least four people—including police officers and civilians—were killed, and 56 others injured. Among the dead was Factory Area Station House Officer (SHO) Shehzad Nawaz, who was martyred after being shot by protesters.

Law enforcement and Rangers launched an operation to disperse the crowds after protesters hurled stones, spiked sticks, and petrol bombs, and opened indiscriminate fire. Security forces conducted a limited counter-operation to regain control of the Grand Trunk (GT) Road.

At least 48 police and Rangers personnel sustained injuries, 17 from gunfire, while three TLP supporters and one passerby were killed. Eight additional civilians were also wounded. During the clashes, around 40 government and private vehicles were set ablaze. Authorities detained several individuals involved in the violence, while injured persons were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment.

In Karachi, TLP supporters staged protests at multiple locations, including Nala Stop and 4K Chowrangi in North Karachi, blocking roads and pelting stones. Traffic was brought to a standstill, forcing police to intervene to restore order.

In Lahore, TLP-affiliated lawyers staged a protest outside Aiwan-e-Adl against the Muridke police operation, blocking traffic from the Civil Secretariat to PMG Chowk. Some protesters assaulted police personnel, prompting the Lahore Bar Association to announce a strike in lower courts, requesting lawyers not appear in court after 11 am.

The association demanded the release of arrested TLP workers, medical treatment for the injured, and legal action against those responsible for the violence.

The protest led to closures of major roads and motorways, forcing passengers to turn to the railway system for travel between Lahore, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Sialkot, and other cities. Despite the addition of extra coaches, trains were overcrowded, leaving many passengers, including women, children, and the elderly, standing throughout their journeys.

In Rawalpindi, schools and colleges reopened after a three-day closure, and attendance was reported as normal under tight security. Traffic flowed smoothly across the city, although diversions remained in place near Faizabad Interchange. The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education resumed supplementary matriculation exams as scheduled.

In Islamabad, road closures disrupted court proceedings as most lawyers were unable to reach the Islamabad High Court (IHC), resulting in the adjournment of scheduled hearings. A division bench, comprising Justice Babar Sattar and Justice Sardar Ejaz Ishaq Khan, cancelled its cause list for the day.

The IHC Bar Association issued a statement urging judges not to issue adverse orders in cases where lawyers were unable to appear, highlighting the difficulties caused by blocked routes.

Following the operation against TLP’s long march, security has been tightened across Rawalpindi and Islamabad. Police have been deployed at key intersections and checkpoints to maintain order. While major roads, including Murree Road, remain open, Shamsabad and Faizabad points are still closed.

Universities have announced sudden holidays and cancelled evening sessions, leaving parents and students facing logistical challenges.

The situation remains volatile, with authorities closely monitoring developments to prevent further violence and protect civilians, law enforcement personnel, and critical infrastructure.

Plus, due to the religious sentiment they think he can get thinks done.

To be honest, the blame still resides with the establishment here. We have seen that when they want to they can crush civil opposition as they did with the PTI protests.

Can you imagine what would happen to such rabble rouser groups in Saudi Arabia? What is the point in having a strong military if you allow insurgent movements to operate with impunity?
 
The TLP guys have been sacrificed to show America that Munir is fighting its own people to help Trump. I am not so sure that Rizvi was injured. I think he was part of the plan. His Wudhu breaks when the Generals call, so he will do as told

They created these. The TTP was created by the Generals and a few weeks back The So called ISIS attacked Baloch party Jalsa which was anti Junta. Why would ISIS attack them and not the Junta.

Look at who the target was ( Akhtar Mengal) and you see who was behind it

So it seems that Ch. Nizam Din is backing ISIS against Taliban and thats why they have attacked Pakistan? This is utterly confusing but I have read about ISIS myself and that they are not done yet. I thought they were all gone and finished.

Our Establishment love these games and love to create proxies to do their dirty work. Ultimately its self defeating( for PK and its people) as any proxy will find a life of its own and hurt PKs. For the Establishment it means jack as they will end up in Belgium,Portugal and Australia and leave the poor Pks to face the blow back.

It seems many many more than 100, probably close to 250 or more. I saw images of dead bodies which themselves added up close to 40. This is what came in my feed. If you go looking for it there are ma y more. There is a separate threads where they are collating photos and uniquely counting bodies and their numbers are already north of 200. If this what some of these posters are okay with, it is a sad state of affairs. Unbelievable that own army of Pakistan can do this to their own countrymen. All those who doubt Bengal genocide should see thr photos and videos. If they can do this for random rally knowing fully well about social media, imagine what they did in 1970s. Truely ducked up state of affairs

Horrific. I cant stand the TLP but this protest was done at the behest of the Establishment and ordinary men were murdered in cold blood. Our Establishment is evil, may each one of them rot in hell. This is twice in a year where they have murdered PKs whilst boot licking Trump and the Zionists. Is the life of PKs so cheap to these ppl.

What is increasingly worrying me is that we always thought there are "a few evil Generals on top" but these seem to be rank and file soldiers and policeman who are shooting their own citizens in cold blood. These people in Pakistani society and at the end of their shifts they go back to their families.

Just imagining it is making me restless.

Bear in mind it was Indian soldiers who murdered their own in Jallianwalla Bagh massacre in Amritsar in 1919. Seems crazy if you think about it now.

Truth is subcontinent rank and file will always follow orders.

The problem with this approach is that this is never going to solve the issue. You may get away doing this to other country's citizens, but your own citizens will find a way to reble. May be these generals think that will be someone else's problem, but ultimately it will be Pakistanis problem.

They are all human beings. They are protesting about what most Pakistanis associate dearly with. Sad state of affairs

Yeah this cannot be done with few generals. They need to have several layers of management and foot soldiers who are willing to go with this. Ultimately the cause of thier protests is something dear to Pakistanis. What is wrong with letting them protest for few days and then disperse them peacefully.

The simplest and most successful thing the Pakistani govt and Army can do it is to create a new nomenclature for TLP and plug in Hindustan in the name. Automatic license to attack without any justification and moral high ground established.
 
Protest has ended, but the cost paid was too high... TLP really should refrain from such activities and also the police and security institutions should be punished for those killings..
