How to get tickets for World Cup 2019

I have tickets for Pak Aus and Pak Ind - both really great seats in GOLD section. Unfortunately I can't go to Pak Aus (two tickets available) and have two tickets left for Pak Ind.... what is the best way for me to sell them? Thanks in advance.

This shows the Asian population in the UK as most games being sold out involve Asian nations.

Pakistan vs Australia available on the website. Just purchased two platinum tickets.

Due to rain forcecast, tickets will be available now.

You mean Pak v Sri Lanka? The Windies was a completed match, so need refund should be given.

Yes but there was a shambles in Pak vs WI as fans had to queue for ages to get their tickets printed so many fans will be refunded for that too

Yes some people did not see a single ball of that match.

Has anyone managed to upgrade their child tickets to adult tickets through paying the difference at the box office, without having the order confirmation details and cardholders ID at hand. Thanks

Guys apply for 1st semi final & final's tickets if they are or will be available. You may end up watching IndvsPak WC semi final or reselling them to Indian fans at good profits.

I really want to go to Pakistan vs South Africa. Everytime I try and get it on the ICC website I get this message."Your request exceeds the availability for this price category. Tickets may be in other baskets. Reduce the amount requested or try a different match". What do I do? By the way is viagogo a legit site to buy tickets?

I'm going Pakistan vs South Africa. Sitting in Mount stand, where are others sitting?

im still after ticketa for pak nz edgbaston. if anyone is thinkong of selling on the icc platforn let us pls

I might be selling mine on the ICC platform if we lose on Sunday. lol

Anyone going to Lords on Sunday? I have silver tickets, where are you sitting?

Inshallah have tickets and planning to go to Pak vs NZ, Pak vs SA and Pak vs Afg.

Hope the weather......and the team :inzi....don't play spoil sport inshallah

Due to health reasons I have decided to put my Pak vs SA ticket up for resale on the official website. I done this last night but it's still saying "awaiting authorisation" next to the ticket when I check the status?

Anyway it's a gold adult ticket for the pak match against south Africa at Lord's on Sunday

The ICC ticket website and procedures are an absolute JOKE. I put my Pak vs SA ticket up for resale 2 days ago and this morning it was still "awaiting authorisation". I phoned them and asked them and they said it can take 72 hours for the ticket to be authorised in order for it to be made available for resale. But since there are less than 48 hours left until the match even if it is authorised now it wont be resold DESPITE the fact the match is a complete sellout and thier seems to be a demand for tickets.

Tickets

Hi, apologies if this is misuse of the forum, but I wanted some advice on buying tickets .
Is viagogo a good site for buying tickets. Is it sound and legitimate, just looking to go to a few pak games as boys need my support
Please advise, or is there any other legal way to get tickets
Thanks

You can check the above posts on this thread. I believe some others have bought tickets from Viagogo.

Are you going to Edgbaston Wednesday?

Work commitments unfortunately, it's the biggest game of the tournament for Pak; I hope ya"ll create a magical atmosphere to help Pakistan win the match. NZ will be under the pump, we need to really put it on KW because he is an ice-man

Sorry bro :( Unless I had booked me annual leave in advance it is tough, the England game coincided with Eid week which was even more convenient but I have given my ticket to another Pak fan who will be there to support in my absence :akhtar #SpiritSquadSuperSub

Does any one know if you download electronic tickets then does this invalidate paper tickets.

I have sold some tickets at face value and sent paper tickets to the customer but I then also downloaded electronic tickets so I am worried that paper tickets may not work.

I called ICC and they asked me to use electronic tickets but the customer has paper tickets

From the ICC website email I just recieved for tommorow.

"Your physical tickets will be cancelled once you print your tickets at home. They will not gain you access to the ground. If you receive your tickets in the post between this point and the match day, please use only the print-at-home ticket."

You need to email him the pdf tickets.

Question for Fans who have been the previous WC games

Hi All,

I haven't been able to go to any games so far due to work commitments however I now have the opportunity to go tomorrow.

My experience of all the Champions Trophy games last year was that people were selling tickets outside just before the game at face value just to get rid of them as once play starts they become worthless.

This was the case even for the Semi Final Vs England, for those who have attended this year have you found it to be the same?

I don't want to pay close to £200.00 on StubHub and such sites if fans have been selling outside on the way. I will also be travelling a fair distance so I must risk assess hence me asking for your experiences.

Apologies if I shouldn't have created this thread.

A very eager and emotional Pakistani!

I havent seen anyone this year, just some touts selling at crazy prices. I would try legal sites such as ebay where you can see the sellers rating.

There were people selling tickets at Trent bridge outside at FV vs West Indies. Always a risk but depends how far you have to travel and if there is anywhere’s you can watch the game if you don’t get a ticket.

The ticketing site is a farce. Shows tickets are available for some games but get an error every time upon adding to basket.
Looking to get a ticket or two for pak v bangladesh. Anyone had any luck by calling up and getting tickets?

It's because idiotic people seem to just keep them in their baskets until they time out. It's quite unfair and tickets should only be allowed in baskets for about 10-15 minutes and then instantly be available again.

I would be interested in a couple of tickets to the BD or Afghanistan games but I can't get them currently!

I’ve been trying for the past week and haven’t managed to get anything. So annoying.

I had the opportunity to get Pak vs Bang tickets and didn't, assuming we'd be well out of the competition by our final group game.

They're like golddust now :((

Any one reckon there's any chances of getting tickets for the Pakistan vs Afghanistan on the official ICC website?

Gonna be visiting England next week, trying to find tickets for pak v ban. The ICC website is giving errors when I try clicking register though.

Anyone that’s been to Lord’s do you know the name/location of the closest Mosque (and Jummah time)?

Hosts England and Wales live up to Duke of Sussex promise for the tournament to deliver a celebration of cultural diversity

Over 320,000 tickets had been bought by fans of South Asian teams, highest for any cricket event held in England and Wales

95 per cent of tickets had been sold across all 48 matches with over 35 per cent of buyers from England and Wales experiencing cricket for the first time

Steve Elworthy, the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup Tournament Director, said: "When we started planning the CWC in 2014 we set out an ambition to be one of the most inclusive and diverse World Cups in the history of the event - and we have delivered.”

The Duke of Sussex promised on the opening day of the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2019 that England and Wales would provide a celebration of cultural diversity - and the tournament has more than lived up to the promise.

In his inspiring opening address at The Oval, The Duke of Sussex said that 'teams would feel as though they were playing in front of a home crowd every time they take to the field'.

Players, coaches, administrators and commentators alike have rejoiced at the most diverse ICC Men's Cricket World Cup in history - with fans providing a blaze of colour and a cacophony of noise at the packed matches in the Group Stages and semi-finals.

And tomorrow when hosts England take on New Zealand in the final at the Home of Cricket, Lord's, in front of fans representing all ten competing sides - and a further 39 countries around the world - the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2019 will receive a fitting and colourful finale to one of the greatest tournaments in history.

18 per cent of tickets for the tournament were sold overseas and supporters have been flying in from all corners of the globe to support their team and be part of a World Cup - something reflected by the fact that the CWC received over 4 million ticket applications from across 157 different countries.

The South Asian communities have come out in huge numbers with 324,000 tickets sold to fans supporting those teams with 50 per cent of the public sales going to fans of teams other than the hosts, England.

Encouragingly for the growth of cricket, the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2019, has not only tapped into the South Asian fans but also provided the game in England and Wales with a new audience with over 35 per cent of ticket buyers from the UK having not purchased cricket tickets in England and Wales before the tournament.

Across 11 first class host venues 800,000 fans have watched the drama of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2019 unfold in full stadiums, providing great atmospheres for the world’s best players to thrill the massive crowds. The tournament has sold over 95 per cent of tickets - which is the highest percentage of tickets sold across all editions of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup.

Away from the stadiums fans around the world have been soaking up the action across digital platforms with over 2.6 billion video views of World Cup content. Viewing figures records have also been shattered with Sky Television boasting their highest audience numbers for ODI cricket in over a decade. Free-to-air coverage for the final means that broadcasting figures are set to break even more records when both sides have the opportunity to win the tournament for the first time.

In host cities over 230,000 fans have attended the Official Fanzones and another huge day is to be expected when World Cup fever takes over Trafalgar Square to live screen the final.

Steve Elworthy, the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup Tournament Director, said: "When we started planning the tournament in 2014 we set out an ambition to be one of the most inclusive and diverse World Cups in the history of the event - and we have delivered.”

'We have lived up to the prediction of the Duke of Sussex and if you ask the players they will all agree that they have felt the warmth of the support of their 'home crowds' during this event.

'We have also widened the fan base in the UK for the game and attracted a younger and more inclusive audience with more than 9 per cent under 16 and 150,000 females attending, this tournament has ticked every box - full houses, diverse crowds and wonderful entertainment.

‘When the trophy is lifted at Lord’s tomorrow the winners can declare themselves worthy champions and the tournament can proudly claim to be the greatest cricket celebration in history.”

Dear PP members (or mods) who live in London or England!

I will be visiting England in a couple of weeks IA. I will be in London over the weekend of September 14th and 15th. Would love to watch 5th Ashes test on Saturday (14th) or Sunday (Sep 15th) at The Oval.

Questions:
1. What is the best and cheapest way to buy 1 or 2 tickets for one of those days?
2. How much are the tickets roughly....?
3. Can I buy them at the gate or they are sold-out?
4. Any PP member would like to sell their ticket?

https://www.eticketing.co.uk/surreytickets/Events?preFilter=56

Tickets are sold out for the oval test match via the official provider.

You can find them off other sites but you will be charged excessive amounts. Had a quick look and it's around 250 pounds for a day's play. Viagogo and stubhub.

As for on the day, you won't be able to buy any from the club as they are officially sold out. But you will usually find ticket touts trying to sell them outside the ground but sometimes these can be dodgy, it's a risk as the tickets may not be genuine.

I think DAY 5 tickets for oval test are still available at £25 each. I know the game might not go to day5 but i think its better to buy them as if game doesnt go to day 5 ul get a refund. Try your luck!
