We didn’t know we were begging before—we were told by all previous admins that Pakistan was simply asking for what was fair. Now Mohsin Naqvi draws the line: no talks without equality, no cricket without respect.

PCB needs to make it clear... Making such statements become comical if not cleared.

We were asking what was fair and yet travelled there for World Cup and later on, they denied coming to Pakistan for intl events. But good to see such firm stance now - not going to India anymore for Asia Cup and forthcoming icc and acc events. *** for tat.

We should be sensible in negotiations. In almost every negotiation both parties are not equal. Entering a negotiation on the basis of equality and demanding equality can be quite naive. PCB's aim should be to extract as many beneficial arrangements for them as possible, whilst also acknowledging and respecting India's place in the cricketing eco-system. We are not India and do not have the power to dictate, however, we do bring something to the table and shouldn't be pushed around either.

India holds some leverage not just over Pakistan, but over cricket. That's why tournaments are titled to suit the Indian market. There is no harm in acknowledging it and accepting it. I just hope the PCB do not enter negotiations with the aim of presenting themselves as India does, we don't have that clout.

Didn't realize we were begging before? We were given the impression that we were demanding compliance from India
