What difference does it make to you? If people do it willingly, let them do as they please. It's the forced conversions that's an issue

Of course, forced ones are an issue. The benefits of conversion should be communicated properly so that people do it willingly and no one is forced.

I support pakistani hindus adopting islam and indian muslims converting to hinduism, as it brings a lot of social capital and helps them climb up the ladder. Among the people I know, only one muslim girl converted to hinduism (wants to marry a hindu), but have seen quite a few hindu girls convert to christianity and islam for marriage ( obviously don't approve of that).

Hindus in India have started to see him as a successor of Shri Surender Modi. Won't be surprised if Yogi becomes our PM after Modi hangs his kettle. I am not sure about the developments during his tenure but I am pretty sure that he will keep Google Maps busy.

The idea of caste is not uniform in Hinduism, and was indeed absent in earlier versions of Hinduism. For many Hindus, the caste of the husband transfers to the wife, though not the other way around.

She should get the caste of her husband. Can also remain casteless. There are many indians with generic surnames who don't identify with any caste.

Just last month got to know a friend of mine who is a muslim wants to marry a hindu and convert. The last time she had come to visit me, she was carrying books by sadhguru and having discussion how most aspects of religions are man made. maybe it had to do with failure to find a muslim guy who matched her free lifestyle.

Not just Indians the entire non Muslim World would call Muslims terrorist.

This vile man Yogi won a landslide in Uttar Pardesh, which shows that the majority of people there either support his comments, or are not bothered enough to not vote for him.

I'm extremely grateful for my grandparents leaving UP and coming to Pakistan.

It's unfortunately the world we live in. Even Imran Khan has is a low key right wing nutcase. Right wing politics is what seems to buy votes these days.
