Sharjeel has not even been playing the National T20 yet somehow he is in the team. These PSL Franchises really do make a mockery out of merit
 
Pakistanis have a weird obsession with Australia. Probably has alot to do with the decades of mental disintegration the cricket team has suffered at their hands, but I still don't understand the obsession with going big on B/C grade Australian players and then making them captain of the team too.

I doubt Labuschagne would get a contract in any T20 league in the world. He has played all of 1 T20I for Australia and has a T20 strike-rate of 126. On what grounds was he picked, let alone made captain? He was not even captain of the Brisbane Heat in the recent BBL.

Ashton Turner captaining Multan Sultans makes more sense - he recently lead Perth Scorchers to the BBL title, but it's still a weird choice considering it's his second season and last season he was struggling to even make the playing eleven. On top of that, when you have Steve Smith in the side - one of the sharpest minds in world cricket - why would you even consider anyone else?
 
Graphic designers, user experience professionals, and marketing professionals should be shown the Hyderabad Kingsmen logo as an example of what not to do when designing a logo.

Besides the fact that it looks like it was made in Paint, it’s also a logo that can’t be properly used in different formats because the lettering sits outside the actual emblem. ESPNCricinfo used the logo as a cropped icon, which makes the design look even worse.

Different roles. Baartman was a good signing too. He was the best bowler in the SA20 and would have been a good addition to the side. The flip side of adding Theekshana is that now their pace attack looks weak.
 
Hyderabad Kingsmen will begin their HBL PSL 11 campaign with the tournament opener against defending champions Lahore Qalandars on Thursday, 26 March at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

The Hyderabad Kingsmen squad has assembled in Lahore ahead of the tournament, with captain Marnus Labuschagne joining the side along with vice-captain Hassan Khan and head coach Jason Gillespie.

Speaking during the captains’ press conference on the eve of HBL PSL 11, Labuschagne said the focus for the new franchise will be to allow players to express themselves and perform with confidence.

“We have not spoken too much in depth, but the aim is for every individual to be themselves. I will try to lead them in the same manner as I do in the Big Bash or at the state side in Australia and empower the players to show how good they are,” Labuschagne said.

The Australian batter also acknowledged the challenge and excitement of leading a new franchise in the league.

“Any team you play for in the HBL PSL, the Big Bash or even Australia, there is always pressure. It doesn’t change much, but it is an exciting new chapter for Hyderabad Kingsmen to be a new franchise in the HBL PSL. You have to look at it like an opportunity to perform at the biggest stage.”

When a franchise not only brings in Marnus Labuchagne as a player but also appoints him the captain, that’s a huge problem. This team won’t be led by example and players will need to inspire themselves. He’s just as poor as Babar and Rizwan, probably even worse.

They lack quality in bowling department. With Saim being out of form and Maaz injured, they lack quality in batting too and Labuschagne is the captain

Kit colour is fine but the basic rubbing fastness issue with dark fabrics. Extremely poor quality fabric in the kit.

Muhammad Ali and Akif Javed are good seamers. They need to step up. Big chance to prove they can be relied on.

Ali, Rilee, Akif is a good seam attack.

The captain needs to be a bit more smart with how he’s using his resources. Hassan Khan and Saim can bowl early in the powerplay to set a tone.

Theekshana+Maxwell will lift them.

That’s probably the strongest combination I can get out of them but there are some problems here because the top 3 are all left handers and then it’s all righty’s from 4 downwards
 
What kind of toxic chemicals have these clowns been using to make their kits?

First time I have seen the color of a ball change because it was rubbed against a kit lol
