32 test hundreds, 100+ matches, average of 53, ATG status, etc.
And, how many runs YK has scored in his last 12 innings overseas, except one.

I'm not making any exceptions. In his last overseas innings against a top side, he scored a match-winning double century.
What did Kamran do in his last 10 innings overseas?
What about other 11 innings ?
Fawad deserves a go before Kamran. Enough about amazing FC stats when we continuously ignore the one player who has done better than the rest for a CONSISTENT period, unlike these once in 5 season Akmal brothers.
Not particularly keen on seeing Kamran in the Test team but he has scored 2380 runs in his last three seasons of FC cricket at an average of 64 with 10 hundreds.

Thank god he made that statment.
Asif checked
Kamran checked
Two down few more to go
Apparently, Kamran did not ask the PM, he merely hinted that such a thing would be a good thing!
If he is being quoted saying it, then one would assume he said it![]()
Horrible news.
Same,I thought Inzi would be better than the others have had in the past.Selecting a TTF,that too a dodgy character^^^ That's being too kind bro, this is some next level trauma that we might have to go through by enduring that face all throughout the Australian ODI series.
Can't believe Inzi would turn out to be such a dud selector !!- I am highly disappointed

Bro since we both are from the same place, I hope you know that there are certain allegiances that can never be abandoned right !! This right here is the culmination of that same Alliance - It's as simple as that. Hope you understand what I am trying to say here.......
Pretty obvious this is exactly what is happening. Quite unfortunate that such bias still exist in this day and age.
Ohh My Dear Brother !! You'd be massively surprised..... And then we complain why the nation isn't progressing and why there are so many divisions among us at a intrinsic human to human level.
I am sure you would also know and second this notion that these types of 'selections' are the same reason why boys and girls from the city's educated middle class is migrating overseas....
If you start questioning this 'bias' then you are labelled as a traitor and said to harming the unity of the 'federation'.
I accept he's performed well in domestic but a player shouldn't be allowed to openly lobby for a place in the team like this. If only the younger players had such opportunity to have private meetings with the chief selector.
Seniority complex is alive and well in Pak cricket.
I completely understand. Some things never change.Bro since we both are from the same place, I hope you know that there are certain allegiances that can never be abandoned right !! Great news, should have been in the Test squad as well ahead of Rizwan.
A fit and firing Kamran is still a top player, and more than good enough to make the squads of all three formats as a batsman alone.

I don't think there is a Pakistani cricketer who infuriates me more than Kamran Akmal. He must have dropped about 50 catches for Pakistan. Not even exaggerating. And now he still had the audacity to think that he deserves praise? He cost us lots and lots of matches.
I even dislike Kamran more than Asif. Yes Asif betrayed us knowingly and repeatedly, but at least he could play!
He dropped 84 catches / missed chances in the span of 2007-2011 (His allegedly peak batting years) and in over 90% of those games, those drops were the decisive factor in Pakistan loosing the game.
If you calculate all the dropped catches in his career they'd most certainly be over than 120. I am almost certain of it !!

Rolled back the years today, breathtaking stuff.
Always a pleasure to watch Kamran in flow.
We should give him an opportunity to open with Sharjeel, final chance. Although we don't know how long this purple patch will last and whether or not he'll be consistent but I think he has earned an opportunity, a good PSL would reinforce that
Whoever performs the best between him, Shahzaib, Sharjeel and Fakhar should partner Sharjeel in the ODI series in the Caribbean.
What about Shehzad? you mentioned him as well
