According to reports, PCB wants to experiment and run the Multan Sultans team themselves for one year to see if there are significant cost savings, they will be forgoing the franchise fees but then they will save money from having to transfer Multan Sultans share of earnings from the revenue pool.

So, if the PCB is running it themselves….how will they run it by retaining Rizwan as captain once they have booted him out as skipper of the national side?

As per a report, The contract for PSL’s most expensive franchise, Multan Sultans, has been terminated, with formal approval set to be announced on December 31. The Tareen Group has confirmed its intent to bid for new teams and has already submitted the necessary documentation. Subject to meeting technical requirements, they will be eligible to participate in the open bidding process alongside other bidders on January 8.

Lol so now they will be loyal to some other city?

Ali Khan Tareen:

“They sent me a notice asking me to apologise and retract my statements.”

“My legal team said it was nonsense — they couldn’t terminate or blacklist me.”

“They didn’t ask me to protect the PSL; they wanted me to apologise to PCB management to stroke their egos.”

“I wanted to give them a clear message — I am not afraid of your threats.”

“When I tore that paper, it wasn’t about starting a fight. It was about sending a message.”

“Sometimes, boss, sometimes people need to be shaken a little.”

“I’m glad I did it. It was necessary.”

Response by Salman Naseer in Geo News to Ali Tareens criticism of the PSL and the PSL management

- The original 5 psl franchises have renewed their agreements with the PCB and the PSL for the next ten years at higher prices

- The PCB title sponsor HBL has been with the PCB and the PSL from the beginning and has signed on with the PCB at a higher price

- All of PCB's commercial partners have stayed with the PCB and the PSL from the beginning

- The PCB had 12 bidders for two new teams and two of them submitted record bids for these teams

I think all of this is more than enough to respond to the criticism
