I wrote this just when Fakhar was out - you can match the script by words & I don't have a time machine -

You see, how ODI batting works (not modern, even in 1967 Gillette Cup) - Fakhar has given a flying start, which has allowed Azhar to take his time. Now, he is 35 balls veteran & a new player has joined him. Ideally, now Azhar should step up & this No. 3 should take his time - that's the way partnership builds. Often PAK loses wickets in bunch, because after one wicket, the set batsmen completely shuts down & I have to call names here - most times, the set player is Azhar or MoHa.

Pakistan batting these days is much more stable. It was between 2007-2014 where Pakistan was very much unpredictable. With 3 senior batsman and Babar, Pakistan don't have too many lows. However, Pakistan haven't had a bossing performance with bat either like they did before.

But still match hugely in Pak's favor. A wicket will mean SL will be in charge.
