India have announced new T20 kit

Fc8hAgUagAA8NNH

Team India's new jersey was unveiled on Sunday ahead of the side's first T20I against Australia on September 20. The sky blue shade returns for the Indian jersey as the side continues its preparations for this year's T20 World Cup, scheduled to take place in Australia in October-November. The last time Team India donned a sky-blue colored kit was between 2007-2008; the jersey was introduced primarily for the ODI World Cup in 2007 and in the same year, a young Indian team led by MS Dhoni lifted the inaugural T20 World Cup trophy sporting the same kit.

Just saw a picture of the supposedly Pakistan kit… not a good sight for the eyes, if true…

Pakistan's kit looks decent. We'll get a better idea of how it looks when they release the official photos with proper lighting and angles.

Pakistan’s looks pretty decent, not gonna lie. Australia’s kit kinda looks like Peshawar Zalmi kit.

Pakistan's kit is actually very good.

Indian kit is good too and I am actually glad they got back with sky blue. But Rohit Sharma is looking like a proper uncle...he needs to reduce some weight man :))

No confirmation that this is the Pakistan kit.

Kit launch will be today as per PCB teaser

Out of the kits that have been released so far Ind & Pak kits stand out Aus & Eng kits are pathetic to be honest. Will have to wait for others to announce before I will chose my favorite kit of the tournament but atm it's Pakistan's I really like the Indian Jersey's where they had dark blue with tri-color i.e kits of 09 & 10.

Did anyone notice any Muslim representation in this promo? I may have missed it.

New Zealand have unveiled their new jersey for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2022, which will take place between October-November, in Australia. The New Zealand Cricket (NZC) took to social media to make the announcement of the jersey reveal. It was done through a photoshoot featuring prominent Kiwi players like Devon Conway, Daryl Mitchell, Martin Guptill, Lockie Ferguson, Trent Boult etc. "Our shirt for the @t20worldcup in Australia is here #T20WorldCup #CricketNation #Cricket," said BlackCapsNZ on Instagram.

The shirt design has a retro look and is a combination of shirts worn by the side in the early 90s. It has a brand new design that combines Kiwis' black colours with heritage grey. Grey was a prominently present colour in NZ's jerseys in the 1990s.

The shirt also moves away from fern as a key graphic, instead the Southern Cross is used as a nod to New Zealand.

Earlier on September 20, New Zealand announced their squad for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2022 and opener Martin Guptill is set to make a record seventh appearance at the event.

The Kiwis will open their T20 World Cup campaign against Australia at the SCG on Saturday, October 22, before facing Afghanistan (MCG), England (Gabba) and two qualifiers at the SCG and Adelaide Oval respectively. They are all part of Group 1 in the Super 12 phase.

New Zealand were the runners-up in the 2021 edition of the tournament, losing to Australia in the final.

Emirates Cricket Board has today unveiled their stunning new logo and kit.

Zayed Abbas, Emirates Cricket Board Member who will also head the UAE squad to Australia for the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 said; “Our Board is extremely proud of the new UAE Cricket logo, which denotes a rich history and honours the deep roots of our sport across the UAE, and, while we have retained core design-elements we have embraced a dynamic shift of the primary colours to symbolise our progressive future, and to better align with today’s sports and business landscape.”

While the logo’s key elements remain untouched, the colour palette incorporates a ‘Gold and Sophisticated’ look, which aims to honour and aspire to the vision of our nation.

Exemplifying confidence and elegance, the newly re-energised logo now proudly sits on a rich magenta and vibrant blue jersey, colours which have been ‘Inspired by UAE’s beautiful winter’.

“We are very excited to launch our new logo and kit ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup (2022), and we look forward to seeing (this kit) against the backdrop of spectacular World Cup venues in Australia.” added Abbas.
