ICC WT20 2016 | England beat Afghanistan by 15 runs

How would Pak have done when under the pump, under the shallow captain? MMHS

Better, unless it's a eliminator or Knock Out.

Shallow leaders are scared of challenge when the wall is stacked on the on back - their insecurity transmits into the team, which makes them confused, skeptic, low confidence & most importantly alone - they think individually first.

"Cornered Tiger" didn't happen because there was a tiger who was put in a corner with a red hot iron stick - it was the philosophy of believing on own-self, being respectful to team members (& opponents), being confident & honest, creating an environment where every individual feels comfortable & aware of their role - most importantly, the feeling of obligation to the team, to the people, to the flag - that inspiration doesn't come inside you if your leader always puts himself down with cheap things. Leadership is all about character - a Manager is developed, leadership is a choice - you have to manage yourself first to be a leader.

Will be difficult against Lankan spinners if your middle order played like this...Morgan/Stokes/Buttler are horribly out of form.

Yep it's a worry. Stokes doesn't play spin well anyway - you never see any up in Geordieland!
