iirc there is a qualifier in Bangladesh, which is stupid because the world cup is in England.

I won't say its stupid

I believe that the teams should not be selected on the basis of the condition. The qualifiers could even be hosted in the rank turners of India for that matter. The selection criteria should not be really on the basis of how well a team will be able to do in a particular tournament but how they are able to compete in a certain ground. Conditions are same for all teams.

For the WT20, the qualifiers were hosted in Ireland but the tournament is being hosted in INDIA
