Hey guys this a fun thread it's just me comparing World Cup cricket teams to international football teams based on form and history again this is a fun thread if you don't agree the teams I chose that's fine as well enjoy
Australia = Brasil for obvious reason always have talented players play their own style of the game and have a rich history. Also importantly they both have most world cups in their respective sports and both wear a yellow and green jersey
England = England I think it's obvious have a rich history as well and have solid players on paper tend to well In general but come up short in World Cup tournament also have the best stadiums to play in for both sports
India= Germany I think they both are world champions and share a good record in World Cup and in contenatly events. Both have history of solid players and great players in youth level as well. Both also in the World Cup have good players but some that are overaged and also have a passionate fans as well
Pakistan = Italy Although Italy is a World Cup champion 4 times compare to Pakistan winning once the similarities lie in the unpredictable factor both teams are too teams but both teams can demolish a top side on their day and can lose to a minnow side as well, both also tend to do well on Indivual bl performances or moments ...moments of sheer brilliance.
South Africa = Netherlands both have a respectful history and both have solid players also have some great and unique fans as well also helps some South African players have Dutch type names. Also both tend to do well in world cups but are never able to win the World Cup
West Indies = Uruguay I had a tough time with this one the only reason I chose Uruguay with the West Indies was because both won the World Cup in its very first edition but that is the similarity I see within these two teams.
Sri Lanka = Argentina now I know on current form this comparison is not right Argentina is world class team were as Sri Lanka has regressed how ever I do fee Argentina will go on a decline next 3-4 years regardless both countries have produced some world class players such as messi and Maradona were as Sri Lanka have produced jayawardena and Kumar sangkarra.
New Zealand = Portugal both very solid teams and always have some good players in senior and youth level as well, despite having a strong squad their always seen as dark horses coming into a tournament but do than to turn up useually. Also both teams despite the talent they have were not able to win World Cup in their respective sport
Bangladesh = Mexico both teams have some talented players and passionate fan both wear the green and red jersey how ever both tend to fall short in World Cup tournaments were Mexico tends to lose out in round of 16 were as Bangladesh tend to lose in quarter finals. In continental tournament both have lost to rivals and produced some great matches Mexico vs USA in gold cup and Bangladesh vs India or Pakistan in Asia cup
Afghanistan = Croatia both have some great talent and both started to impress the world once they came onto the world stage. Croatia making semi finals in 1998 World Cup and than finals in 2018 . Afghanistan in ten years time can make the semi finals of World Cup or even final it might be wishful thinking but I think they had the talent to do so. Both are definatley teams of the future

) also the similarity between Uruguay and WI is frighteningly accurate. Pakistan is more like France in my opinion, they also remind me of Arsenal in the premier league.
