If Pakistan played ODIs against a World XI, what would be your playing XI?

Pretty much the same team from CT final

By the second or third game, rest Malik, Azhar, Hafeez, Imad, Junaid and give a few games to some youngsters

I would honestly play Hafeez since he has an outstanding record in Asia

Oh please- your love for Hafeez has no bounds. Left to your own devices, you would even play Hafeez against Dale Steyn on the bouncy tracks of SA.

You try to qualify your love for him but it's there for everyone to see!

Im sorry man, Hafeez has been my fav player ever since his comeback for the 2011 world cup and his good form. Its kinda hard to stop liking your fav player. Lets see

Going forward the lineup we need is
1) Azhar Ali
2) Fakhar Zaman
3) Babar Azam
4) Sarfraz Ahmed
5) Shoaib Malik
6) Umar Amin
7) Imad Wasim
8) Shadab Khan
9) Mohammad Amir
10) Hasan Ali
11) Junaid Khan

Batsmen like Amin need to be given extended runs in order to prove their worth. E.g. look at what has happened with Shai Hope.

Some question whether Azhar Ali is cut out for ODI cricket however the last 4 games Pakistan played with the Azhar/Fakhar opening combo they provided good opening stands, like the Rohit/Dhawan combo. Therefore this combo should be stuck with for the time being.

I think this batting lineup is strong - 3 accumulators in Azhar, Babar and Sarfraz and Fakhar, Malik and Amin who can all "throw the kitchen sink" when needed.

The bowling is very strong - the trio of Amir Hasan and Junaid coupled with the economy of Imad and the wicket taking option in Shadab Khan.
