If players can be banned then why can't umpires face the consequences?

If a player can be banned and called for chucking and then why can't the umpires face consequence when they make blatant errors excessively.

Players also face punishment for their on field behavior and then the suspension over over rates for a captain.

Why one rule for umpires and another for players shouldn't they both be held accountable just because one plays the game and other enforces them.

Don't both parties have to follow the rules or is it ok for the superior to break as they please and the other has to pay for someone else's consequences.

Disclaimer In NO way am I bashing any party just seeking answers.

It was just one decision we need drop it now.

And they do. Umpires will be taken off the international circuit if they’re doing a bad job.

You must be new to cricket because this has been happening since forever.

This is not about just this decision. I've been noting these blatant decisions for years so I don't know where you got this one decision.

And the last umpire I remember had retire after the 2011 India vs England series maybe due to the BCCI influence.

Chucking is not a mistake it is cheating.

The equivalent to umpires making mistakes would be players dropping catches and throwing away their wickets.

If the umpire’s name hasn’t officiated for 250+ domestic games. He shouldn’t be officiating an international match. I’m sure all the bad umpires have a huge hole in experience compared to good ones like Dar, and Kettleborough. If the ICC is hiring inexperienced umpires, they should hire me or someone from PP for that matter. I’m sure 100% we would be making better decisions.
