It should have been, but when you are as big a name as Mickey in coaching, there is bound to be some ego present. I think he still think Pak can win with 3 seamers and 1 spinner.

Like I said, our guys don't get their act together unless they hit the ground hard enough. Losing to India should have prompted better performance as well, but it is not there to be seen.
Danda has always been the answer for our guys.

Shan Masood needs to be given a go in place of Harris in the match vs India. Sohail will only succumb to the pressure of Jadega, Chahal, Yadav and Jadhav. In this moment in time, we do not need the superior player, rather the player in form - Masood.

There is a lot to like about Masood, but I fear that he does not have the capability to cope with international standard bowling. Plenty of our domestic batsman with great averages in List A have not able to cut the mustard in ODIs.

He was being bounced out by 78 mph bouncers on UAE pitches. Would he be pulling the same bouncers to the fence in colored clothing against a white ball? I'm not sure.

Besides, Masood has not given any indications that he is more of an ODI specialist who is being played in the wrong format. An ODI specialist playing Test cricket would probably get out playing expansive shots and might score a fast fifty every now and then. Masood so far has not been able to do that.

It is a wasted selection and we should have picked a spinner in his stead.

He was the best batsman in our domestic last year by a country mile.

I saw his highlights, he is fit and seems like he can play aggressive one day cricket.

It is obvious he is not a Test batsman, but seems like in One day he is an aggressive stroke making player, exactly what we need in our middle order.

We can bring him in for Asif Ali or Harris for the game tomorrow. Having a top 5 of Fakhr, Inam, Baar, Shaan, Malik, looks a lot more solid. One could have Harris of Faheem come in next.

Our middle order has been struggling, Sarfraz is out of form, so we do require some out of the box thinking.
