Agree with IK. Shahid isn't the brightest of people when it comes to understanding such things. IK is absolutely correct when it comes to prioritising things. There is no point in building mall's and hotel's when people are malnourished and starving. First and foremost we need to feed the people thrice a day then comes the health care, employment and education. What Shahid is talking about comes way down the list of current priorities. He wouldn't know what "human development" even means.

what did boom boom say?

IK should have focused on KPK more (instead of national issues) and focused to providing better infrastructure.

'Boom Boom' is wrong on two counts, IK is not in the KPK government instead he is a member of the National Assembly hence he is well within his rights to talk about national issues. Secondly roads and bridges don't make a nation.

There are 2 reasons why Afridi is crying:

1. He mentioned in one of his interview recently how a proper road to his village in Kohat (KP) isn't built yet. Afridi's business is in Lahore and the great infrastructure provided by Mayor-e-Aala Shobaz Sharif is increasing his business value so it's his duty to appreciate Shobaz and criticize Khattak.

2. There are rumors that PMLN will be launching Afridi in KP for 2018 elections but he need to play sensible here and shouldn't attack Imran because he isn't Miandad and Afridi isn't as big a political figure as Nawaz Sharif or Imran Khan so he should set his target to lower PTI leaders to hit Sixes and leave the big game for Imran and Nawaz.

Both men have inflated egos and don't have the heart to take criticism. This should be interesting, but I hope that Afridi will prove to be the bigger man unlike Imran and will let it slide.

Lol IK was already the bigger man and brushed aside the criticism by laughing at it and said perhaps Afridi might not have the complete knowledge about the matter. However, we know one thing who has a history of targeting IK for no reason.

It wasn't a dignified response by Imran, but then again, he is not known for his dignity. This has to end though, and I hope Afridi will do the sensible thing and not respond.

It was a very dignified response, your inability to see that doesn't change the facts. Sorry your opinion doesn't hold any weight.

It wasn't a dignified response for me, thought it was childish, and it is perfectly fine if doesn't hold any weight for because you are also entitled to your opinion. That however, does not mean that we cannot voice our respective opinions.

Yeah those people who steal, loot and plunder yet become ma'asoom in the media become very dignity. Aisi dignity ka achaar dalna hai? :))

The anchor asked the question what should have IK done? Said "pass, next question, my dignity is at stake"

Ok you tell me what he should have done, since you love to criticize him for no reason, what should he have said to have you say "ok this is an acceptable response"

Nawaz is certainly more dignified in front of the camera compared to his loudmouth brother and Imran. That doesn't negate his crimes and other shortcomings, but it is not difficult to look at things in isolation. Similarly, Imran is not dignified and has the tendency to make cheap remarks and insults, but that of course doesn't change the fact that he is a great philanthropist.

I didn't like the tanziya tone and the condescending statement (with a smirk) that 'Shahid Afridi ko kya pata ke asal kaam kya hota hai, that was disrespectful and uncalled for. He could have said the same thing by stating that 'Shahid Afridi is entitled to his opinion but ......'

However, it is quite typical of Imran to respond in such manner when he is criticized. As I said, he doesn't have capacity to take criticism with dignity and doesn't have control over what he says which is why he quite often ends up regretting his statements.
