Mohammad Nawaz presser on PCB FB:

"I was bowling in the PSL and then in the series against the Windies so I had some confidence to bowl in the same way against Scotland also"

"In the PSL, I was helped by some senior players like KP"

"The boundaries in this ground are short but despite that, we were confident as 200+ is a good score"

"We know that the Scotland side has some good skills and that they would come hard at us but we were ready for that"

"There wasn't that much help for the spinners on this pitch"

"It feels nice to be in Scotland although the conditions are different as compared to Pakistan"

"As professionals, we need to adapt to all conditions which is what we did"

"The way Scotland started their innings was an alarming situation for Pakistan bowlers"

"Sarfaraz was struggling a little bit in Tests but red & white ball cricket is totally different"

"We worked very hard in the nets and he was very confident and he showed that today"

"In the last T20I series he played at number 4 as well, so whenever he comes up the order he plays well"

"I think Sarfaraz Ahmed is comfortable at number 4 batting position"

"You sometimes have bad days as well and I feel that it wasn't Mohammad Amir's day today"

"The pitch wasnt that helpful for fast-bowlers as it was a little slow so the batsmen were getting time to play their shots"

"I hope that Mohammad Amir will do well as a bowler what he is known for"

"I am working on my batting and I want to be an all-rounder at an international level"

He gets unnecessary hate just because Sarfraz backs him. His performance has been brilliant with the ball and deserves a spot at least in the T20 team.

By far one of the worser allrounders we've seen in recent times. I'm not a big fan of Nawaz unless he improves his game by a lot.

Don't know why but his bowling action is possibly the most beautiful I have seen in left arm spinners. He needs to work on his batting A LOT!!!! Otherwise he seems to be a good defensive spinner as far as LOI's are concerned.

He can be Pakistan's Ravinder Jadeja. It won't be a bad idea to play him in tests in Asia with Shadab.

Harsh! I think you forgot Anwar Ali and Bilawal Bhatti.
Nawaz is a quality bowler who is more than handy with the bat and a brilliant fielder.

A rubbish and poor player. Should be nowhere near our team.

That would be team with one hell of a batting depth

Shadab
Nawaz
Ashraf
Hassan/Amir
Abbas

As stated earlier the pitch is not at all as good as the last day

In test matches you need to take 20 wickets to win the match, not restrict the opposition to below par scores.

Looks like a poor mans Jadeja with the bat, and Jadeja has hardly done anything of note with the bat in international cricket from what I saw of him. Only difference is that Jadeja is a quality bowler. To be honest Anwar Ali's bowling isn't all that great since we got way better options but he's a decent T20 slogger and a brilliant fielder, Bilawal Bhatti is by far one of the worst fast bowling allrounders we produced, his batting is alright though.

2/25 in 4 overs today vs Zalmi today - seems to be in good form, after BPL
