Inconceivable that this Dad's (and Duds) XI from India is having it so easy.

This team is missing at least three batsmen who are incomparably better than those taking the field - Kohli, KL Rahul, and Pant.

Dhoni must be chuckling inside he likely won't have to bat again tonight. Won't get exposed.
 
Very smart from India going with 3 front line spinners and aik Pakistan hai our main spinner in squad are Nawaz and Shadab!

Me too, but I said in many times, in Asia for us the toughest job is to beat IND - our 2 strengths are their strength as well and comparatively better. We can't master their spinners in middle overs, we can't choke their batting with our darters - that's a massive gap to cover.
 
Stop batting & come back - IND can finish the game by lunch and we can watch an interesting chase in other game.

That's common against PAK also. In fact, SRL got us effectively at 3-3, but middle order took the score to 134/3 in 25 overs, from 12/3 in 7. Today opening pacers made in 2 down in no time, hence 120 ish, otherwise it might have gone to 220 ish, still spinners don't come in to play. But, 220 ish is often enough for PAK or SRL, and definitely against nos Asian sides on such wickets.

No, they have to put some score and keep IND as long as possible in middle. This tournament is full of one sided games and it might happen NRR is a critical factor.
 
Bangladesh were so good and exciting to watch in the 2015-16 period, seem to have regressed now. Hope they recover quick, they still have the potential to make the final.
 
Bangladesh just don't have much to hurt India with - on a pitch with support to pacers, Indian pacers will outbowl them, on one with support to spinners, Indian spinners will do the same. On a flat pitch Indian batsman would outbat them.

They basically need exceptional individual brilliance to win against India, they aren't a match as a team.

Nobody in Ban team is talented enough to give a brilliant individual performance. Shakib is bits n pieces player in ODIs, neither good with bat or ball. Mustafiz was good once upon a tine, now even he's fading.
 
So dearly wanted Bang Bros to get a score that would have ensured Dhoni got to bat.

This game has meaning only if Dhoni fails. Looks like a waste of time atm.
 
Great recovery by BD... now they have a fighting score on the board ...will be a difficult chase for India...if BD can get Rohit and dhawan cheaply, they can easily win this match.

Decent recovery, but I think 230 is minimum to win against IND. But, it won't be embarrassment like 25-30 overs surrender.
 
Happy for Jadeja. At least he is a good bowler and can bat a little too. Still better than a bits and pieces player who isn't good in one department.
 
Happy at least India looks to be winning this one. Cant say that right now about my own team though I am very positive about us winning.
 
Need to keep IND in for at least 35 overs :( - this might end in a Mexican stand off between BD-AFG-PAK. Our next 2 games are at Abu Dhabi, which can go either way (at present it's slightly in our favor, 1 run preciously, win by 137, lose by 136 :) )
 
Litton Das should be kicked out for good he is a hack in ODI’s. Maybe an option in T20 and Test. Bring back Sarkar, Imrul Kayes, both add experience, Sarkar has played a lot since 2015 but he us nowhwre to be seen now. Shanto the youngster is new atm but why try youngsters in tournaments when you can bed them in at home against SL, WI, Pk. BD selectors are daft as anything. Look at the line up to many youngsters and inexperienced batting at the top. Das, Shanto, Mossadekk walking wicket, I’ll spare Shanto as he is very new. Tamim is out they should’ve even called Imrul Kayes in at tournaments you some need experience at top!

And for the sake of God! Stop using Shakib at 3 yo. Don’t you have any sense?! He is never a number 3, he hasngot the patience, he has played 98% of his ODI care below number 4. He comes in middle order knows his role well, his head works out the situation better but if he comes at 3 he doesnt get the match awareness and situation as well as he is at number 3 early on, he has to build the innings. The man is the heart of the team he must be at 5!!!.

Get through these openers and there's no telling how the match would go. Would love to see Dhoni lunge and plunge again. Can these Banger flunkies make it happen?
 
Ordinary. Hard to believe this is the same Fizz who had such a buzz going for him. Very definition of innocuous so far.
 
I get why ambati is getting chances, I can feel this guy being nervous and ****, he is a good batsman but needs to chill and play, overthinking causes you a lot of harm.
 
Well I heard Soumya Sarkar and Imrul Kayes added to BD team. That’s good to know. Bd missing experienced openers.
Sarkar can be destructive although he has been out of form gettinf our playing silly cricket recent times but I remember the 127 against Pakistan in 2015 - boy that was wonderful innings, classy!

Bangladesh need to rethink and use their heads well. Battinf positions of Shakib needs to be set at #5, bring Mithun up to 3. Kick mossadekk out along with Das and Shanto.

He was not that bad.Before Asia cup he was bowling well,in fact he was our best consistent pacer.Actually nothing is going right at this moment for Bangladesh.

Dhoni getting out or not does not making any difference, he will retire only after 2019 WC. Better he gets some practise tonight for next 2-3 matches.
 
Courtney Walsh isnt a coach material, he isn’t a good bowling coach. Courtney has tweaked Mustafizurs action and now batsmen see his deliveries like a football, there’s no mystery nor same arm action but two paced deliveries - meaning one with 140+ and one 112-118 cutter or the Fast yorker. He had so much variety abd stuffs but the stupid morons trying to groom him into being test bowler bowling the traditional orthodox ways with arm seam and what not positionings. The fizz did well with his cutters and stuffs in his first test series.

My question is, why?! Why change when it was working. And why does he even needs to play test on flat highways. He ws a massive asset with the ball in ODI and T20, why can’t he just be used foe LOIS?! Now it’s late, unless Big Walsh gets the boot and Heath Streak is brought back at any cost. Under Walsh BD pacers bowl far too any short stuffs, Fizz’s mystery has disappeared, Taskin gone awol, but under heath there was clear plan for wach bowlers, all performed superbly 2015!
