All Pakistan need to do on sunday is just win the toss and field first. Our bowling attack is pretty weak to defend anything here under lights without Bumrah & Harshal

What a dull match

It was like watching a PSL match in Dubai

India qualified for the Super 4 stage of the Asia Cup after beating Hong Kong by 40 runs in a Group A match at the Dubai International Stadium.

Chasing a target of 193, Hong Kong were restricted to a total of 142 for five in 20 overs. Babar Hayat top-scored with a knock of 41 while Kinchit Shah and Zeeshan Ali played cameos of 30 and 26 not out, respectively.

Earlier, Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav starred with the bat as India managed to post a total of 192 for two against Hong Kong in an Asia Cup Group A match against Hong Kong. Kohli (59 not out off 44) and Suryakumar (68 not out off 26) added an unbeaten 98 runs to rescue India, who were at one stage 94 for two after 13 overs of play.

KL Rahul got out after a slugging 36 off 39 while skipper Rohit Sharma (21) too failed to leave his mark. For Hong Kong, Ayush Shukla and Mohammad Ghazanfar picked a wicket each. India made one change to their playing XI from the last game as Rishabh Pant replaced Hardik Pandya, who has been rested.

ACC Asia Cup 2022 | India v Hong Kong | 4th Match | Group A | 31 August | Dubai | Match Discussion

Rohit Sharma versus Hong Kong, a big game.
What a tragedy! How come that that happened what actually happened?! Thank God I didn't lose my million by betting on it/him.

Selfish Rahul dismissal was t he turning point for Hongkong. If they let him play the entire 20 overs the target would have been manageable.

Below par bowling performance today. Last match, only Arshdeep was a bit poor and the fielding cost us more, this natch it was purely the bowling .

If Rahul didn't go out when he did, we would not have scored that much. Even Kohli was playing the anchor role

Much closer then most fans would have expected. Respect to HK for making a match off it but at the end of the day a win is all that matters. India are through is all that matters to them.

Overhyped bowler. Congratulations India

Now watch these nobody like Arshdeep Singh and Avesh Khan keep getting chances while Umran Malik Rotts away like Parveez Rasool. I really feel the fact Umran is from Kashmir is the reason why his career will go nowhere with BCCI...

Umran Malik would have been hammered even more. He is raw atm and has only pace with no skills.

Arshdeep is a fine bowler, need to be given more opportunity before we conclude anything on him. Also, he should do well in ODIs.

Harshal is only suited to T20s.

Umran needs more time, he need to learn to develop some skills like Naseem Shah for the start.

Bhuvi is a good bowler but the other are still trundlers and wouldn’t get anywhere near the Pakistani domestic bowlers even.

By domestic, are you talking about domestic T20's/PSL? Because if you are talking about FC , the best seamer in the last QEA was 38 year old Sohail Khan who took 30 wickets at 22 odd . Even 6 years ago, he used to grunt in his 2nd spell . :rabada2

Irfanullah Shah only played three games and averaged 16 season before that he averages 20.
