I like your stance on this. That’s a reason why Indian gov don’t want any bilateral with Pak as pak will get to enjoy 50% of money made through mostly Indian viewers. All PCB officials and pak excricketers who talk about ind vs pak series to improve the relationship is lie. All they want is Indian money. When BCCI was poor in 90s , when pak had all those stars, we didn’t hear any such thing from them. We had almost two decades with no ind vs pak cricket back in 60s, still nothing happened to cricket. At least we have these multi lateral tournaments once in a while now.

BCCI is all powerful at the moment and in a position to pick and choose who they play. They are not responsible for PCB being inept and ineffective. The BCCI do not owe Pak Cricket or PCB any favours at all. I agree with India and it's people that war and Sport can't happen simultaneously when their is so much bloodshed going on. I hate it when most Pakistanis here only care about Cricket, how immature and childish can you be! On one hand we claim to be saviours of the Kashmiris whilst on the other are dying to play Cricket with those we consider as oppressing and killing them. We have England, Zimbabwe, NZ, Australia and RSA coming up within the next year in one format or another I believe so it's not bad at all. Indian board is rightfully doing what is right for them. They will always be a much bigger market then we are due to their size and viewership.

I am saying the same thing , I have not changed my stance at all , except when playing in Pakistan why should it forfeit.

This is a subtle dig at the situation in Pakistan, I am going to bite my tongue. The fact International teams are playing in Pakistan. albeit slowly, is a positive move. However you do not see the security issues in India in the past 10 years either, rather choose to ignore them, public perception of course.

Pakistan is hosting an emergence tournament soon, international teams are sending their players. Go on, make some excuse why India will not send it's players to Pakistan then? You cannot.

If other nations come to that tournament and India does not come then we can revisit the the issue.

Your definition of begging must be different. Asking someone to hold up their side of the bargain is begging is it? If so India must have been begging the UN to get Pakistan to hold up their side of the bargain. Right?

PCB forced the most powerful board to shift venue from INDIA to UAE. Out of BCCI/GOI's comfort zone. This is not begging, this is power. Let this sink in.

Here's how I see it. Your Nationalist Right-wing PM pays a surprise visit to Pakistan when he was elected. Your Bharat Army officials sat with Pakistan officials during a military parade. Your government allows Indian team to play Pakistan in other sports, including the Commonwealth Games which is running now. Your government trades with Pakistan and so on. But no, GOI refuses to play Pakistan in bilateral Cricket. It's not even money, it's FEAR.

At the end of the day, if I were BCCI, I wouldn't want to get thrashed at home, or anywhere for that matter, by arch rivals. If 2 points is enough to persuade BCCI to follow the tune of PCB in ICC/ACC, then imagine what 200M could buy.

Anyway, happy hunting the 2 points.

200M is not due to Pakistan or PCB.It is due money power in India.If Pakistan became that power then we would not even have this conversation.

Hosting any event means catering to the needs of other teams that's all.There is nothing powerful in that I really hope PCB is not thinking like you and feeling moral victory in getting Asia cup shifted from India.

india is a developing country , and its established and having Proper democracy will make people say stuff and there will be problems here and there but there is a diff between protesting outside stadium and shooting on team bus with AK47

first there is no proper internation cricket in pakistan (series with WI was nothing coz if it was something they had send proper players

let me make it clear to you,if india dont participate,asia cup gets cancelled,if pak dont participate ,same!! So bcci is being generous by participating and helping other boards out , if u think bcci badly needs money by making 1-2 match with pak then u must be living in ur own little world!!

what can i say when u Say words like FEAR , just look at last 5 years of ind-pak match results u shud know if its fear

Besides cricket is everything in indian sports , other sports 1%- crixket 99% ,so why would they impose policy on 1%, they just need to cover cricket , and about modi visitng pak ,it was goodwill and hope from india ,which obviously failed and if u think its not money u shud ask ur self which other indian or pakistani sports league or int brings 2.5BL+1BL through only broadcast rights?
