Bcci will get the trophy back with intetrst hope it doesn't make pakistsnis cry because naqvi is pcb representative and pcb MAY get dragged as wellI think he just did. You guys just stood their as the champions board was also being dragged back.
Lol let us know when u get the trophy back
I honestly didn’t like how the Indian players avoided shaking hands with Pakistan.
But at the same time, the Pakistani captain also shouldn’t have behaved the way he did after their first encounter against India. He and his team came across as desperate for handshakes. He was already told about India’s intention beforehand by the match refree Andy Pycroft. His approach should’ve been: “If they don’t want to shake hands, that’s fine — we’re only focused on winning.”
Again what trophy?
Thats what i am saying, when u get the trophy than talk about having a trophy.
Naqvi stole ur moment of enjoy lol
All over social mediaWheres the trophy?
Agree with the points…. However this tournament has changed the way Pakistanis see and will interact with indians. The army and establishment have been given a huge boost now…Salman is once again falling into the trap of some Pakistani fans before this game - that just because you feel someone deserves to be punished by losing to you, it will happen.
That's not how sport works. You also need to be good enough to turn that intangible factor called Luck your way. And Salman was useless as a player and poor as a captain in utilizing the limited players he had to their 100% potential.
Was India's captain cringe with his nohandshake and statements? Yes. Was the refusal to take questions from Pak journalists pathetic. Yes. Was the sight of an Indian and Pak ex-player at the toss because either captain won't even talk to the other country's ex-player laughable? Yes.
But it still doesn't mean that India will lose as some kind of punishment and give you a win you don't even remotely work for and earn.
Also there is no need to excuse Surya, because a stronger personality like Rohit or Kohli might not have followed the diktats to a T.
And on the ridiculous moment at the toss, there is a good chance Pak were also involved in this decision because Shastri is the one who normally conducts these tosses at Finals. Surya obviously doesn't have a problem speaking to him.
That is very noble but you are also doing similar stuff to the Indians by politicizing a game. Also, I hope this gesture doesn't ease the backlash he and some of his players deserve for their cricketing skills. Reaching the final was a good achievement but all this shouldn't be used to cover his inadequacies as a captain and the poor performances by some of their players.
He’s 100% correct about the disrespect towards the game
He may or may not be around much longer in T20s…
But his words here will haunt India forever. You can mark that down.
On a side note, I’m really proud of how Agha has dealt with this extremely difficult task of leading the side in this wartime like situation and atmosphere. Having to deal with extreme hatred and disrespect from India, and also his own countrymen who hate him simply because 2 players were not picked.
Respect Agha!
What is he deflecting? The cricketing questions he answered honestly.losing captain trying to deflect
On cannot be forced to shake hands with people he doesn't want to personal liberty is a concept that's alie to pakistsnis since in pakistan there is no such thing. What is he deflecting? The cricketing questions he answered honestly.
When he was asked specifically about Indian antics he had to answer honestly. He’s right in his answers. I’ve never seen this level of petulance from any team in world sport
Even back in 1998 when there was a lot of tension between Iran and the USA and the geopolitical climate overshadowed that game, the teams still shook hands and went one step further handing white roses as a symbol of peace.
Now I’m not saying they hand each other flowers, but there are certain etiquettes you follow as a sportsman. The non handshake was a symbolic gesture and then the petulance at the end of the match about not receiving the trophy was even worse.
Salman saying he’d never seen anything like it is absolutely correct. So you want him to lie and say “oh yea it was great”. He was asked a question and answered.
If Indian want to normalise this type of behaviour, go ahead, but it says more about their need to overcompensate for what happened in the summer than anything else.
Poor guys just want any victory to start singing again.
Do what you want, but regarding the “operation” in the summer, everyone on the world stage apart from India is unanimous on what happened. India acting like that just reminds everyone what happened.
Mate, I really think the Pakistani team should have counted it as a blessing for not having to shake an Indian hand. If you know, you knowOn cannot be forced to shake hands with people he doesn't want to personal liberty is a concept that's alie to pakistsnis since in pakistan there is no such thing.
You have to ask yourself “why would winners be so ‘sore’ in the first place”?Yes, we are sore winners, you are big dil losers. Nhi karni handshake, jo kar na hai kar lo.
I don't have to do jack, smashing you 3 times in a single tournament is enough entertainment for me, the off the field humiliation that SKY and co dished out is just bonus. You have to ask yourself “why would winners be so ‘sore’ in the first place”?
I’m struggling, someone told me there are 6 reasons (or is it 7 now?)
Seems I touched a nerve or 6I don't have to do jack, smashing you 3 times in a single tournament is enough entertainment for me, the off the field humiliation that SKY and co dished out is just bonus.
Also who cares about the trophy? we have won like a dozen of Asia cups. You can keep the trophy, hell, your failed marshal is probably already doing victory parades as we speak lol.
170-180 in Sharjah and BangladeshIgnoring all the political and disrespecting cricket nonsense, don't care about any of that. That interview was as meek as Agha himself. Did he seriously talk up the fact the team managed to score 170/180 in T20 matches as some kind of achievement?! That's the minimum for most teams. Most successful T20 teams are hitting almost 200 on a regular basis and viewing that as a competitive score and this guy thinks hitting 170 shows they are doing "well"....
Sure if that helps you sleep at night while desperately clinging to your stuffed Agha doll but in reality no self respecting captain is talking up scoring 170 in a T20 international match regardless of where it is played.170-180 in Sharjah and Bangladesh![]()
It can be a million as long as you are making up delusional lying fantasies as you guys are experts at.You have to ask yourself “why would winners be so ‘sore’ in the first place”?

Spot on. But, with the global right wing mindset these days, I dont think the crickerters are the brighest eggs in the basket. Aap to bahot door ki baat ker rahain hain...Surya allowed himself to get used by his politicians. Right now he is their poster boy, especially for BJP and the ring wing Indians.
But remember, politicians are never sincere with anyone. They will use you for their own benefit and also hang you dry when needed.
In 10 to 15 years time, when relations between both countries will improve, and they sill improve as this keeps on happening, thats when the Indian politicians or its board members will try to distance itself away from what Surya did.
Had Surya just shook hands and lead his team with sports man spirit and meant with the pakistani counterpart, yes he would had faced backlash from his country but that would had stayed for an year or 2. After that it would had been forgotten what he did, infact, he would had been praised for not bowing down to the govt pressure in the longer run.
He is 35 years old, doesnt have much of a career left, and now has opened up a pandora box that will describe him in the long run.
Politicians in BCCI come and go, but than guys like Rajiv Shukla stay forever, and these are the guys who keep good relations with countries like Pakistan etc. So when needed, people like Rajiv shukla will distance away from what Surya did.
I mean great speech and that, but it counts for zilch! The world knows, we all know.It can be a million as long as you are making up delusional lying fantasies as you guys are experts at.
I have always said this, when reality becomes bitter, living in delusions and fantasies is the only solace. And there has never been a more delusional country and people.
There is a reason you guys live under military rule most of your life, you are too immature to sustain a democracy and exactly the amount of gullible to swallow propaganda by your military.
When Pakistan were scoring 170-180. Hasan Nawaz was playing in middle order.
Here you swapped him with Talat.
You reap what you sow.
First 5, then 6, then 7 lol.You have to ask yourself “why would winners be so ‘sore’ in the first place”?
I’m struggling, someone told me there are 6 reasons (or is it 7 now?)
Pakistanis still live under the illusion that it will go back to the "good old days".Surya allowed himself to get used by his politicians. Right now he is their poster boy, especially for BJP and the ring wing Indians.

But then things keep happening to them.Pakistanis are the biggest believers in karma looks like.
It's always "You'll see what happens... One day this will happen to you".
This is a very balanced take. I personally believe overall behavior of both the teams was appalling. There was no need for Surya to start that nonsense at the first game. If he wanted to dedicate the win he could have waited for the tournament to be over, win the cup and then dedicate that trophy to the winners. Than there was no need for Moshin Naqui, Rauf, Faheem etc to do all the shenanigans before and during the tournament.Agha bas Kar.
When you make this statement after a loss it can come across bitter.
Yes India's attitude has been shocking, but they won the cup. Many Indians even criticised their players, and criticised their government, but when they win the cup it covers over everything.
They are number one in the rankings holding Asia Cup and World cup T20. We are at the bottom.
Take the loss, quietly lick your wounds, and try to work hard on your own game and the teams game.
No matter what, in sports, the best statement is made on the field. Whatever happens off the field is noise. You don't get any bonus runs or wickets for making statements.
Bhai, "claim" 100 if you will and be happy.Seems I touched a nerve or 6
