From CPEC to Dams, India is one faithfull concerned neighbour.

:ssmith

Looks like India are just being big-hearted neighbours and are worried about the well-being of the Sindhis and the Pakistani environment. Pakistan are blessed to have such nice caring neighbours. :)

Aww, look at "a stable Pakistan is better for India" showing its true colors as always. Small hearted cry babies. :((

Statements like that, and the typical "we don't care about Pakistan" or "we are not obsessed with Pakistan" are just empty words, and when you see their actions you realized their actions completely contradict those words. Their state appears to have issues with anything that can cause significant growth or improvement in Pakistan. Making issues out of going after terrorists in FATA/Balochistan, issues with CPEC and now issue with Bhasha dam.

Too bad for them, there's almost nothing they can do about it besides complaining about it.

They are obsessed about Pakistan. Its a fact. You seem them all over our websites, our music etc. They are even interfering with our one dam project. Just shows how petty they are.

Agreed, a good chunk of India (the vast majority that I've come across, even in personal life through university days and work) appears to be immature, insecure and obsessed. You will frequently hear them mention "we only care about terrorism from Pakistan", and meantime they are talking about CPEC, dam, China over taking Pakistan, etc. There is a disproportionate number of them when there's anything negative to talk about (e.g. currency devaluation, having to go to IMF) but they are nowhere to be seen when it's something else (e.g. tons of new power stations, new highways, etc) unless they can find or spin those discussions in a negative manner.

I mean what about the mantra from usual suspect about " our country, our rule" ?

cricketjoshila can help you with that.

Problem is Pakistanis always want to talk about Gujarat,Indian Muslims,Indian Dalits and Indian kashmiris. We are just returning the neighbourly love.

Lol Indians are funny, they hate Bilawal because of his stance on Kashmir but he's the most popular leader of the Sindhi people.

This is why I cringe every time I hear by Indian politicians that progress in Pakistan is good for India.

In reality they want Pakistan to remain under developed and in constant economic turmoil. Obviously if Pakistan doesnt have money they cant buy new shiny stuff for the army and air force.

India will continue to protest against any development in Pakistan whether its CPEC, dams, or anything else.

It is predictable. Their chellay in Pakistan have also sprung up against the construction of these dams.

Chief Justice did the right thing today by announcing that anyone opposing the construction of these dams will be charged with article 6(treason).

What a bunch of idiots.

Three provinces opposed Kalabagh dam not Diamir Bhasha.

What? Are you pretending this something new? How long have you guys been going on about supposed issues in Balochistan, or Sindh (this is not the first time), or KPK, or with Ahmedis, etc?

The difference here is the intent. Pakistanis talk about human right issues, you are opposing the dam. It is not the same thing. Pakistan is not using the human right issues as a way to try and stifle development. There is little to no complaint from Sindh about this dam, so you guys are inventing a non-existent for the sole reason of wanting to stifle development. But you guys have very little leverage in this case, and there's little you can do about it.

Indian government can throw all its toys outside of the pram. Not going to work.

Yes please tell when did India raised Balochistan?or KPK or anything else?

Pakistan has no right to interfere in what happens in India. Yet Pakistan has been interfering into Indian affairs for decades.

...and they say Pak is always crying in front of the the UN for this and that:narine. Pak internal affairs have nothing to do with India that is full of separatist movements. Pak has pointed that out many times as well and will continue do do so. This is why I hate things like "Aman ki Asha", there can be no peace with Indian hypocrites.

Sunny Deol-type Bollywood dialogues have infected a whole generation, they see Pak as some new avatar of old Islamic invasions, look at kids repeating the "Pakistan murdabad" mantra, and who will probably end up as active lurkers or hyperactive members on PakPassion, the govt. is just following the populace here :

What the heck did I just watch?

On-topic, does anyone know what India's stance was regarding Kalabagh Dam out of curiosity?

The reason I ask is because Pakistan desperately needs a dam to solve its water crisis and to avoid major droughts that could lead to a complete destruction of the country.

I don't know why anyone would be against a dam being built in Pakistan. Is India really that petty that they would rather see a famine kill millions of civilians in Pakistan to feel better about their own country?

So all of the sudden the right wing nationalist extremists influenced government care about the people of Pakistan when the government and their supporters are openly killing minority for believing in a different religion.

Who is writing this script for them? Gamby or Sunny Pa ji?

3 provinces opposes construction of dam? :)))
What are they smoking, seriously??

And the best part is in 1st tweet "Human rights violation" @Syed1 time to leave planet earth :))

And some one, please tell these Jaahil morons, there are 5 provinces in Pakistan not 4 :)))

RIP media.

Pakistan needs this dam, people will be uprooted but this has to be done, otherwise pakistan will be in ruins.

We need to educate those people who are against it in pakistan...
