A quick snapshot of India's performance in the decade:

This is the first time in India's ODI history that India had a positive head to head win percentage against every top 8 team with the exception of Australia against whom India won 16 and lost 16 matches as well.

Of course India's biggest ODI achievements came in the first half of the decade when India won the 2011 World Cup and the 2013 Champions Trophy. Even in the other ICC tournaments - most of the times India had at least reached the semi-finals or finals.

Overall an absolutely wonderful decade for India in the ODI's.

they mostly made their names in the 2000s. Most of the 11 team were from the 03 batch - Sehwag, Zaheer, Nehra, Yuvi, Bhajji and ofc Sachin

Dhawan should be there. Leading run scorers for India in CT 2013, WC 2015 and CT 2017. So does Jaddu. Zaheer can come in place of Bhuvi.

You make a good point about Dhawan. You're probably right than on merit he should be there in place of Sehwag. I just prefer Sehwag so i had him in there.

But i have to say, i disagree about having Jaddu over Ashwin. Ashwin has won India far more ODIs than Jaddu has. Plus, Ashwin is a WC winner. Can't justify leaving him out for Jaddu.

Jadeja has been better with both bat and ball.Highest wicket taker in CT 13 and ofcourse played a valiant knock in WC SF this year.Fielding makes it an easy decision

As for WC winner,even Chawla and Yusuf Pathan are one
