hmm, So Bangladesh with 12% the population of India is sending, 50% of the Indian refugee case count to Canada? ( 18.5k compared to India's 37k) A Bangladeshi is 4 times more likely to apply for a refugee status in Canada than an Indian. Similarly, a Pakistani is almost 2 times more likely to apply for a refugee status in Canada compared to India.

What I don't understand is that Indian media has started anti-Turkey propaganda now and this is getting really stupid. India should have good relations with Asian countries but day by day India is getting more and more 'enemies'.

Indians are cancelling holidays in popular resorts in Turkey and Azerbaijan after the countries supported Pakistan during its recent conflict with New Delhi, two booking firms said.

Ties between India and Pakistan nosedived after a deadly attack in Indian ashmir last month that New Delhi said was backed by Islamabad.

Pakistan denied involvement, but intense fighting broke out when India struck what it said were "terrorist camps" in Pakistan last week. They agreed a ceasefire on Saturday which has largely held.

Turkey and Azerbaijan, popular budget holiday destinations for Indians, issued statements backing Islamabad after India's strikes.

"Bookings for Azerbaijan and Turkey decreasing by 60% (over the last week) while cancellations have surged by 250% during the same period," a spokesperson for MakeMyTrip said.

EaseMyTrip's Chief Executive Officer, Rikant Pittie, said the platform had seen a 22% rise in cancellations for Turkey and 30% for Azerbaijan "due to recent geopolitical tensions".

Travellers had switched to Georgia, Serbia, Greece, Thailand and Vietnam, he added.

I don't think India can ever be a superpower. Neither an economic superpower nor a military superpower. They are more about quantity over quality. They are a provider of cheap labor. That's all. :inti

If Pakistan has ruined their own country, what excuse has India got? Last time I looked it was still a 3rd world dump which Indians are fleeing by any means necessary. IMFs and GDPs mean jackshoot when the vast swathes of the country are still living on scraps and the roads are piled with sewage.

Pakistan on the other hand begs IMF, Gulf nations, US-China to barely sustain.

Well it's the reality. When I point it out, you can only come back with "you seem triggered". 4th largest economy means nothing at the moment, not to vast majority of the people who have to live in worse conditions than Pakistan or Bangladesh. This is the reason why Indians are still fleeing their homeland for the Gulf or western countries. They want a good standard of living, not financial forecasts.

You have a large population and a massive labor force, it’s almost inevitable that you will see profits from it.
