So I guess, we will need to bowl many slow ball and cutters.
 
India will make a meal of this paltry total.

We were over-cautious with our start.
 
I think more than anything else the selection might cost us.

Not a good pitch for T20 and I think Batsman have done reasonably well.
 
Watching Pakistan cricket is depressing in every single facet.

Afridi, you should retire in shame.

Dhoni tried to help Pakistan along, but India will chase this down in 14 overs, that's my prediction. Pakistan pacers are bad and our spinners are mediocre.
 
We need 10 wickets in 4 overs and we can win this

Irfan and Riaz and Sami will get hit around

I think Amir will do bad too on this pitch

India should win with an over to spare and by 6 wickets
 
Poor Selection has cost pakistan the game. And poor batting too. They could have scored 140 here if they batted better.
 
Winning total, but I think Pakistan bowling attack isn't strong enough to win it, hope the better team wins,Pakistan batters did exceptionally well,they would take this score 50 out of 10 times,Dhoni must be an angry man
 
Pak did well to get that score.

They shouldn't be criticised on such a wicket.

India slight favourites but It will not be easy for them or shouldn't be on this pitch.

There is no logic in giving Pandya the 2nd over.

Not even going to bring in his genius utilization of bowlers with Ashwin not even completing his quota (I understand Bumrah was a safer bet for the final over but talking about utilization).

This is by far the worst captaincy I have seen in a cricket match.

Even beating the great Angelo Mathews.

No words really.
 
IND 'll chase similar to Asia Cup final with 2 more overs, but a much inferior wicket. However, the PAK attack is probably going to hurt them more than IND.

I reckon, PAK is 14 short here - 7.5 was almost impossible to chase. Going by Nagpur, I think, this track is going to get worse, but PAK only has 1.5 spinners.
 
Malik, Afridi, and Amir need to bowl 4 overs a piece.

And we need to get 2-3 wickets within the first 5.

India couldn't chase 126 against NZ, We put up 118 on the board and our bowling attack is much better than NZ's IMO.
 
Really really poor batting by our choker batsmen under pressure. Even Afghanistan would score around 130 here.
Umpire should award India 2 points. No need to start 2nd innings :(:(:livid::livid::69::69::69:
 
Will the Pakistani pace attack stick to their usual bowling styles or will they adapt to the big-turning wicket by bowling a lot of cutters?
 
no doubt wasim akram is grilling slow cutters into all the fast bowlers right now
 
This is difference with India and Pakistan. Their batsmen will not go into a shell. And they don't have severe liabilities like Sharjeel vs spin, or Afridi's total lack of ability
 
It would be interesting to see how Indians go about their batting.

Pakistan has shown decent fight. Honestly, seeing the pitch early I was a bit scared we will fold for 60-70.
 
No doubt India is favorite for a victory, but let's see what our bowlers can do on this pitch.
 
The pitch is bad, but let's be honest, Pakistan batting has always been bad, india on this same pitch will play decently, specially kohli, I predict they win this match within 15 overs.
 
All our bowlers esp Irfan and Amir bowl good cutters which will be good here
 
Now Afridi should also open with the bowling. Indians openers would probably expect to face Amir... but facing afridi on this pitch first up is a different proposition all together.
 
Guys come on. This is a tough wicket. Lets hope afridi gets going while bowling. Even fast bowlers will be hard to face.

Lets be positive.

No it's not for this pitch. New Zealand have three spinners two of whom can turn it miles on such pitches.
 
Needed another spinner given the sharp turn on offer. Pacers will need to bowl cutters whilst Afridi/Malik will bowl the full allocation of overs.

NZ had 3 spinners, with 2 regular spinners & they had the variation of a leggi. In that team Kiwis had one bowler with a bit of pace - went for 18 in an over. PAK has 4 pacers & a fastish leggi & a part-timer.

If PAK loses this game, lots of blame goes to the gentleman behind dropping Imad.

This score would have been good if we had another spinner.

Malik,Nawaz and Afridi would have done well.

Our selectors didnt select 1 genuine spinner. Zafar/Asghar here couldve been so good. Usama too

we bowled all our spinners against NZ who are one of the worst players of spinners , how much did we concede ?
Does it really always has to be as per your script ? oh the pitch is spinning , let me bowl everyone who bowls spin & we would have bowled out Pak for 80 again ? Give the guy some credit
 
India's game to lose. Afridi won't be dangerous even on this pitch and malik does not have much control.
