Agree Nehra is loads of.... But he has a tendency to take 1/2 wickets and sometimes, i repeat sometimes, bowl beautiful spells like he did in the past (Asia Cup Final, WC 2003)

I guess the selectors made blunder when they selected Piyush for the WC instead of either Jadeja (decent fileder and bowler) or Ojha (much better spinner). And in order to prove them wrong MSD used him.

Jadeja was having problems with BCCI over IPL switching issues whereas Ojha is a liability in the field and he cant bat, so both MSD and Selectors came to compromise by selecting Chawla over the others.

All the above are my own theory so plz don't crucify me for any incorrect data
