I think his main point is that while the government sends the correct food the higher-ups and officers sell it off to make a quick buck and the soldiers get whatever is left.

In General Ashfaq Pervez Kiani's tenure the Jawaan's started getting 2 leg piece roast and cake during Tea time and Meat was part of the lunch and dinner menu 3 days per week.

As per Indian media reports the Soldier has been transfered to Head Quarters and he has been given duty of Plumber now.

What a shame! While soldiers die for the country smiling, this pseudo soldier is making selfie videos complaining about daal chawal? As a proud supporter of soldiers I feel embarrassed that there are people like him in the army of our great nation.

He is a very brave man and his courage should be appreciated. India spend so much money on defence, yet soldiers are treated like this. Perhaps it should spend more money on its soldiers rather than buying fancy weaponry and staging phony 'Sir-Jiical' strikes.
