The Pakistan Super League (PSL 2025) kicks off on April 11th, bringing another season of explosive T20 action with world-class players and intense rivalries. PSL has established itself as a competitive and entertaining T20 league, featuring top international players and thrilling matches. However, given the current cricketing tensions between India and Pakistan—including India's reluctance to tour Pakistan for the Champions Trophy—many Indian fans are divided on whether to engage with the PSL.

Some may choose to skip it out of principle, while others might watch purely for the love of the game, setting aside political and diplomatic issues. Where do you stand? Will you be tuning in to PSL 2025, or does the broader context affect your interest?

The only cricket I watch these days are high quality test matches and ICC events.

Pakistan vs England series in England when Misbah was captain was the last Pakistani series I watched, was so high quality series, Pakistan punched way above their weight.

Never watched PSL and haven’t watched IPL since 10 odd years.

Honestly, I dont bother even about IPL (Till Punjab actually goes into play offs). So little chance to even bother about PSL. Anyways I doubt PSL gets streamed in India at all.

I would love to catch a glimpse of it. Not sure if it’s going to be streamed on major platforms like Hotstar, SonyLiv this year. I used to watch Pakistan test series in some Tamasha app i think. Will see

Fans of Bharat have a huge appetite for cricket. We don’t just talk about being cricket fans and then not actually fill the stadiums like the Pakistani fans. We talk the walk. No one can beat us in cricket craze.

I have nothing against other leagues. Production quality, vibe, atmosphere, coverage, commentary, and representation of top players definitely will create some interest. I never watched any leagues for a long time. Seen highlights of BBL. Apart from commentary and terrific fielding, I didn't find that amusing. I won't say it is bad. It is good enough. But didn't know many players. I have seen highlights of CPL. WI is one of my least favorite countries to enjoy an event. The first two leagues that interested me were SA20 and MLC. MLC due to the fact there are so many international stars in each team. Also, it is in the USA. SA20, I always have a bias towards the SA vibe since the 2003/2007 world cups. The atmosphere/vibe is always nice. Quality is also good. More importantly, the franchisee owners are IPL owners.

It serves no purpose for me..First of all, it doesn't have any Indian players.. doesn't have any trending overseas players to watch out for..all are leftovers from IPL..It never produced any international talents for Pakistan..It only have produced Azam Khan level players..IPL had uplifted Indian cricket, whereas PCB only got poorer after PSL..I donno if it is even telecasted in India..

I would have caught a glimpse a few weeks ago, but I am taking Bharat-Pak dushmani a little more seriously after getting offended by certain threads recently.

A resounding NO from me. :sanga

You do not wanna miss Lahore vs Karachi game.
I don’t even watch ipl bro
So probably not hey

Unless there is some badmash fight lol like Shaheen vs some random player
Or Amir vs shezad in the past

Or shezad vs wahab riaz lol

I only watch test cricket plus icc t20 World Cup events

Yes. I follow Lahore. Was massive fan of Ben Dunk's batting in few seasons. Looking forward to some new talents.
Any young star I should watch out for this season ? I may not post much here at that time but I do follow scorecards and watch highlights. PSL has its own charm.
Liked Nafay but he kind of went wayward.

Good attitude. I like it.

I won't even tune into IPL 2025.

The 5 tests in England are my next stop.

It’s an overkill.
I have rarely watched any IPLs myself. Because i follow international cricket so passionately, i consider IPL as my break time from cricket.

I watched a few games but I don’t feel it in myself to keep watching the same repetitive trash especially when the balance is so tilted in batting’s favour. They’re making 250-280sh totals with ease these days and every bowler is getting thrashed. That’s not the cricket I like, knowing well these batters won’t average 15 in test cricket

A little junk food is a good palate cleanser after a high-priced 5 course meal (5 match test series). :kp

Ali Raza plays for LQ

Guys I suggest to look out for,

-Khwaja Nafay in QG
-Maaz Sadaqat in LQ (not sure he will get a game)
-Arafat Minhas in KK
-Left arm chinaman Momin in LQ
-Muhammad Shehzad in IU (hopefully he plays as their emerging player)
-Akif Javed for MS

I still think Hassan Nawaz will be an exciting player to watch out for on home conditions. I have a feeling Jahandad has probably lost all of his confidence due to this stint with Pakistan, but I dont think he's a terrible player. Abdul Samad might have a couple of innings where he announces himself too, but not too sure about him.

Wait you guys have 3 Chinaman.. Faisal Akram momin and sufian yet none of them played CT.. AMAZING!!! Anyways thanks I will keep on tuning in to watch few games here and there.

As for the overseas pros,

1. Finn Allen for QG (He is the face of PSL this year)
2. Matt Short for IU
3. Mitchell Owen for PZ (They've made a big signing here that will keep them in the race)
4. Tim Seifert for KK (in the form of his life bashing Pakistan bowlers)
5. Micheal Bracewell for MS (realistically he should be their captain)
6. David Warner for KK (The Bull will singlehandedly win games for them)
7. Andres Gous for IU (they rate him very highly)
8. Kusal Perrera for LQ (This guy is unstoppable on his day too)

As a cricket fan, why not? Once in a while will tune in to support my team- Karachi Kings- due to my family emotional connection to Karachi (y)

Think it's going to be a very low standard of cricket. Not enough high quality batters, fast bowlers, all rounders or spinners.

Definitely better than Bangladesh "zero talent league".

But

IPL
BBL
Hundred
SA20
CPL
Super Smash

all have more talented domestic players .

PSL domestic talent maybe slightly better than Lanka Premier League and that's about it.

I have been a passionate follower of Pakistan cricket over the years. Doing nobody a favour, i watched it for my personal amusement because Pakistan has had a lot of exciting and world class talent over the years. Who wouldn’t wanna watch talent like Shoaib Akhtar, Amir, Asif, Ajmal no matter what. In recent years i see a dip in talent and hence my desire to watch Pakistan cricket isn’t the same today although i keep checking scores and reading stuff here.
