NZ is our bogey team. Purely on that want to avoid. On paper you won't mind facing them. But India finds a way to lose to them. Suddenly Santner and Sodhi become Derek underwood and Shane warne against India. Santner's world t20 ER against India is unreal 3.75.

If India beat Zimbabwe they will top the group with only one loss but South africa lost to Pakistan and also shared points with Zimbabwe.

India looks to beat Zimbabwe and top the group and face England but if India lose they will get eliminated by Pakistan who will end up with already better NRR after beating Bangladesh.

Yes, it is still possible but one particular fixture from Group 2 needs to favour Pakistan.

South Africa are up against the Netherlands in their final Super 12 match on Sunday. If the Netherlands beat South Africa and Pakistan go on to defeat Bangladesh, in their final group game, Babar Azam & Co. will qualify for the semi-finals.

There no way Netherlands will beat South Africa, the pressure is off them, us loosing to Zimbabwe was the killer, if we’d won the chance to qualify would of been better, also it’s unlikely to rain all through South Africa’s game then miraculously dry up enough for our game to start on time

Doesn't matter. You have to beat the best to win the World T20. England are the most complete side. Beating them will give India confidence to beat anyone in the finals.

NZ are a little overrated because they beat Australis at Sydney while batting first. Englamd are the stronger side.

And it looks like we'll be facing ENG in the semis if we qualify . So, good

Have you looked at Santher and Sodhi's record against India in world T20 games? It is all the more reason you avoid playing NZ.

The problem with the kiwi players is that they are free spirited. Their country don't care about cricket that much so the players play without any fear of failure. Indians have a mental block against them.

Eng is the best match up for India. I prefer Pak vs NZ in the other SF and Pak beating NZ. India's best path is Eng and then Pak in the final.

Comes down to where they play. SCG. Spin oriented pitch. Larger ground. If it were to be MCG , NZ would have advantage due to their swing bowling option. This one will be a belter. Win the toss bat first.

Dominated NewZealand? when? In recent Tri Series NewZealand thrashed Pak by 9 wickets in the first encounter and only lost to Pak in an evenly poised final when Pak batting especially Middle order clicked in the end, and that game went to the last over ..

New Zealand is a very dangerous and inform side.. People are not giving them the credit they deserve.
