Indian politician compares Muslim children to 'pollution' in tweet

Sanghis are never at any fault. Even when they lynch innocent people, Sonowal being 8th child is still nothing.

Two weeks back , RSS man, with his wife and child were brutually murdered in West Bengal. Never seen any thread on this. Even in Punjab many BJP Or RSS person got murdered
If we go by facts there might be more RSS Or BJP people got murdered than those got lynched by them if any.
Like there are more man killed during cattle smuggling by smugglers than those got lynched.

What is your view on these news and facts ? Why can't we condemn both? The thing is the more you would try to success people the more they will come with power. Same is happening .

Suppress * people

Why don't you open threads on those killings? Has anyone ever stopped you? At least I didn't.

A murder is a murder is a murder, irrespective of the political party that person was affiliated to.

lol, unlike you I'm not bound by a party ideology. Nor do I make it a point to defend the indefensible no matter what....

So you can't obviously see how patently wrong is this 'law' when he himself is part of that problem...Ok, didn't expect anything different from you....

Don't really get this line of reasoning, one can argue about whether this law should be passed or not. However, the CM should not be blamed for something his parents did. Your accountability starts and ends at your own actions or your kids action (until they reach legal age), other than that every individual is responsible only for themselves and not for anyone else.

At the end of the day population control is much needed, bringing in religion in such debates trivializes the sensitivity of this issue. Proper laws need to be passed to control the growing population irrespective of the religion.

The words, the way you wrote, the way you expressed yourself here, shows that there's something bitterness going very deep inside. I hope I am wrong.
Don't poke your nose in matters about which you don't have any idea. You don't know about me even an iota, so stay out.

Lol its always funny to see the mental gymnastics and cognitive dissonance BJP supporters here have to engage in when having to defend ridiculous statements by their party reps.

Its almost as if BJP politicians are trolling their supporters by giving out ridiculous statements and then seeing how they will be defended.

Then to bring home the point emphatically he should have posted a photo of the politicans parents and siblings.

I think the photo was posted by some other BJP leader and Assam CM is being discussed for some other reason. Either ways it's politics and yes there's a perception (maybe tightly so) that the BJP leaders are doing this to target one particular religion.

My point wasn't related to that, I was saying you can't judge someone for actions of their parents otherwise a criminals child will always be considered a criminal. This particular line of reasoning shouldn't be used to blast the CM, you can use other lines of reasoning and his mistakes to blast him.

I agree with your point there but it still is pretty funny though and I would say if the shoe was on the other foot the BJP supporters (or anyone really) would use this as the first line of attack and say it is hypocritical.

The infant mortality was very high a few decades ago in India. That's the reason why people of all religions would try to have as many kids as possible. Even though the mortality rates are still high compared to the west, it is much better and there is awareness among the population. Middle class understands the pit falls of a boat load of children because it is impossible to provide for all of them. If Ambani has 3 kids or a Sharukh has 3 kids noboDy cares as they have the resources. What's left is the poor. They are not so aware, not so educated and have a incentives to actually overindulge. They can beg for welfare. They need multiple hands to work and provide in a family. They are also gullible to religious influence. The issue is not with Just Muslims but the economic status. However studies show the percentage of poor in Muslim community is high and what makes people angry is the defensive mindset of these people. You can marry multiple times as long as you can provide for them in Islam. People need to understand that you can have multiple kids only if you can provide for them. It's a vicious cycle where poor remain poor for generations.
